Bhikshu, if a bhikshu drives a stake into the ground, what happens? He falls. Bhikshu, if he pulls it out, what happens? He has committed a fault. Bhikshu, if a bhikshu peels off the sod, what happens? He has committed a fault. Bhikshu, if a bhikshu digs in the ground, what happens? He has committed a fault. Bhikshu, if a bhikshu digs up cow dung or rubble on the ground, what happens? He has committed a fault. Bhikshu, if a bhikshu digs up excrement, what happens? He has committed a fault.
