If they continue together, everything will become a wrong action. Bhikshus, if a bhikshu speaks to a mad bhikshu who does not act according to the Dharma, or speaks together, or begs for food together, or sleeps together in one room, what will happen? It will become a wrong action. Similarly, for a bhikshu who is mentally disturbed, afflicted by illness, mute, deaf, foolish, or in another state, if he does not act according to the Dharma, speaks, or speaks together, or eats together, or sleeps together in one room, everything will become a wrong action. Bhikshus, if a bhikshu, knowing that person speaks in such a way and does not act according to the Dharma, uses mantras or medicine to make himself invisible, and then speaks with him, or speaks together, or begs for food, or sleeps with him in one house, what will happen? It will become a wrong action. Bhikshus, if a bhikshu, knowing that person speaks in such a way, flies with him in the sky and sleeps, what will happen? It will become a wrong action. Bhikshus, if a noble bhikshu speaks to a person who speaks in such a way in the noble language, and that person does not understand the noble language, what will happen? It will become a wrong action. If a noble person speaks to a person who speaks in such a way and does not act according to the Dharma in the language of the borderlands, and that person does not understand the language of the borderlands, what will happen? It will become a wrong action. If a person from the borderlands speaks to a person who speaks in such a way in the language of the borderlands, and that person does not understand the language of the borderlands, what will happen? Bhikkhu, if a bhikkhu, perceiving it as secluded, speaks to such a speaker, or falls asleep, what happens? He commits a dukkaṭa. Bhikkhu, if a bhikkhu, knowing it as it is, partakes of chewing food, drinks, licking, sucking, etc., other than food, with such a speaker, what happens? He commits a dukkaṭa. Bhikkhu, if one knows that the person is not fully ordained, and speaks to him when he is not fully ordained, what happens? He commits a dukkaṭa.
