It is to be relinquished. For shramaneras, shramanerikas, and shikshamanas, it should be explained in detail that they have committed a misdeed. The downfall of relinquishment is complete. In short, sending messages, writing letters, gestures, what others say, and from one to another, becoming mad and mentally disturbed, being sick, deaf, dumb, and foolish, sleeping, being unconscious, being drunk, entering samadhi, and walking are the last (not offenses).
