If one asks others for more than is allowed, what happens? One commits an offense. Bhikshu, if one asks before being fully ordained, it is easy to ask. If one asks before being fully ordained, what happens? One commits an offense. If one asks before being fully ordained and asks before being fully ordained, what happens? One commits an offense. If one asks before being fully ordained and asks after being fully ordained, what happens? One commits an offense. If he says this, he will commit a downfall. Venerable one, if a bhikshu instructs a bhikshu, and through a letter says: I, do not study this training as instructed by the venerable ones. If he says this, what happens? One commits an offense. Similarly, if one speaks through letters and gestures and what others say, and passing it on one after another, all will commit offenses.
