If one transfers the gains dedicated to an individual to oneself, what happens? One commits an offense. If one obtains the gains, what happens? One only commits an offense. Similarly, with regard to a eunuch, one who has expelled a bhikkhuni, one who has killed one's mother, one who has killed one's father, one who has killed an arhat, one who has caused dissension in the sangha, one who has intentionally drawn blood from a tathagata, a heretic, one who has joined a heretical sect, one who lives by theft, one who lives separately, one who should not live there, one who has made a promise, one who has previously committed an offense, one who was initially discordant, and the gains dedicated to one who is learning the precepts, if one transfers them to oneself, what happens? One commits an offense. If one obtains the gains, what happens? One only commits an offense. Bhikshus, if a bhikshu transfers to himself the gains dedicated to those residing elsewhere, what happens? One commits an offense. If one obtains the gains, what happens? One only commits an offense.
