Venerable, if a monk from the central region speaks words of degradation to a woman from the central region in a border language, and the woman from the central region does not understand that border language, what happens? He commits a sthūlātyaya offense. If a border person speaks words of degradation to a border woman in the language of the central region, and the border woman does not understand that language of the central region, what happens? He commits a sthūlātyaya offense. If a border person speaks words of degradation to a woman from the central region in a border language, and the woman from the central region does not understand that border language, what happens? He commits a sthūlātyaya offense. If a person from the central region speaks words of degradation to a border woman in the language of the central region, and the border woman does not understand that language of the central region, what happens? He commits a sthūlātyaya offense. Venerable, if a monk expresses words of degradation to a woman through bodily gestures, what happens? He commits a sthūlātyaya offense. Venerable, if a monk speaks words of degradation to a woman in a secluded place with the perception of seclusion, what happens? He commits a sthūlātyaya offense. If he speaks words of degradation in a secluded place with the perception of non-seclusion, what happens? He commits a sthūlātyaya offense. If he speaks words of degradation in a non-secluded place with the perception of seclusion, what happens? He commits a sthūlātyaya offense.
