The light of the Hearers, if it can overwhelm things like the sun and moon that have great power and miracles, what need to mention the heretics? Ananda, if women had not gone forth in the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya, then my teaching would still remain complete for a thousand years, without any fault or decay. Therefore, Ananda, even a Bhikshuni who has taken full ordination for a hundred years should speak pleasant words, praise, rise, join palms, prostrate, and so on to the Bhikshu fathers. The story takes place in Shravasti (Mnyan du yod pa na). The Bhikshunis have things to do with a gathering of four, things to do with a gathering of five, and things to do with a gathering of twelve. These cause both Sanghas to gather and become many affairs. Many affairs hinder speaking, reading, reciting, yoga, and attention. Therefore, the Bhikshus reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed that, except for expulsion, full ordination, and common affairs, the affairs of the Bhikshu fathers should also be done separately. The affairs of the Bhikshunis should also be done separately. The story takes place in Shravasti (Mnyan du yod pa na). At that time, there was another householder living in Shravasti (Mnyan du yod pa na) who took a wife from the same caste, and they enjoyed playing and having fun together. After enjoying playing and having fun, his wife became pregnant. After nine months, she gave birth to a daughter, and as soon as the daughter was born, the father passed away. The mother raised her and brought her up until she became big. Later, the mother also passed away. After that, a Bhikshuni named Sbom Dga' Mo went out for alms and saw her on a street and asked, "Daughter, who do you belong to?" The daughter replied, "Holy Mother, I don't belong to anyone, I am helpless." The Bhikshuni said, "Daughter, since that is the case, why don't you go forth?" The daughter asked, "Who can make me go forth?" The Bhikshuni said, "Daughter, I can make you go forth, come here, let's go." The daughter replied, "Okay." Then she went with the Bhikshuni to the summer palace.

Then Sbom dga' mo let her be ordained, but she was afflicted by afflictions and returned to secular life again. When Sbom dga' mo went for alms, she saw her and said, "Daughter, how are you living?" She prostrated at her feet and said, "Holy mother, I am living in suffering." That daughter said, "Since that is so, why not be ordained again?" She said, "Holy mother, who would let me be ordained again from the state of having returned to secular life? Daughter, shall I let you be ordained?" She said, "Okay." So she let her be ordained, and when she went for alms, the Brahmins and householders saw it and thought it was not good. The daughters of the Shakya monks and nuns are lazy and lazy in the Dharma, and they practice non-Dharma, they mocked in this way. After the matter occurred, the nuns told the monks, and the monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One thought: The reason for becoming a fault is that the nuns have returned to secular life and then been ordained again. Therefore, considering that nuns should not be ordained again from the state of having returned to secular life, he said to the monks, "Monks, the Brahmins and householders have reason to mock. Therefore, monks and nuns, do not let a nun who has returned to secular life once and is powerless be ordained. If she is ordained, she will become a guilty person." The Basis of Miscellaneous Matters of the Vinaya, Volume Thirty-eight. In short: Wanderers and the very greedy, scolding and also mocking, a monk to a nun, mocking a monk to a female novice. When the Buddha, the Blessed One, was in Shravasti, he was staying in Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Garden. At that time, in the city of Wheel Enclosure (Yul 'khor mo 'jig), there was a householder named Gautama (Gau-ta-ma), who was rich, had much wealth, and enjoyed great prosperity. He took a wife from an equal family and enjoyed pleasure with her. Later one day, he took goods and went to the city of Stone Heap (Yul rdo 'jog), and went to the house of another householder. That householder expressed respect with words such as "Welcome," and let him rest. Because of their mutual affection, the householder Gautama became friends with him. The householder Gautama sold the goods and took new goods back to the city of Wheel.
