What did those monks do? Wait a moment, let us speak joyful words to each other and then go. He said: Friend, I will certainly not let these two go, come and let's go together. He knew that was the time, so he followed those two monks along with him. Those two monks were only saying bad things and walking forward, and after who knows how long, the road split into two. Of those two monks, one went to Jeta Grove. One went to the Deer Park Mother's Pavilion. Of those two, the younger one bowed to the elder, and he said: O venerable one, I am going to the Deer Park Mother's Pavilion, may you be careful and may you depart without illness. After saying that, he left. The non-believing Yakshini stood her hair on end and made a gesture of snatching away the radiance. The believing Yaksha said: Friend, do not be biased. These two have spoken the Dharma, whoever can be without illness is good, being without illness is the best attainment. Whoever says to be careful, being careful is the root of all Dharmas. The Blessed One also said: Mindfulness is the place of immortality, carelessness is the place of death. The mindful do not die, the careless always go to death. After saying that, he repeated it again. The believing Yaksha thought to himself, this is exactly what I should do, thinking this, he went to where the Blessed One was. After arriving, he bowed to the feet of the Blessed One with his head, and then sat to one side. After sitting to one side, the Yaksha said this to the Blessed One: Venerable one, those who do not have faith in the teachings of the Blessed One, non-humans, fierce Yakshas always exist. Venerable one, those who have faith are very few. Those who have faith in the teachings of the Blessed One, non-humans, fierce Yakshas, always exist, but the fierce Yakshas who do not have faith in the teachings of the Blessed One are very many. Venerable one, these noble ones are speaking bad words, entering the rear and going away.

O Blessed One, please consider with compassion. By what cause do the noble ones not speak ill words, and after entering the path, do not speak ill words, please approach a little to remember the noble ones. The Blessed One did not say anything to that yaksha, and gave his consent. Then, that yaksha, knowing that the Blessed One did not say anything and gave his consent, bowed his head to the feet of the Blessed One, and departed from the presence of the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One, knowing that the yaksha had left not long ago, sat down on the seat that had been prepared in the midst of the sangha of monks. After sitting down, the Blessed One said to the monks: Monks, I heard from a yaksha that some monks speak ill words and walk on the road, and the unbelieving yakshas seek opportunities and look for gaps. Monks, for those who have renounced in the well-spoken Vinaya, speaking ill words like this is not beautiful and not appropriate. Therefore, I should establish the practices for monks entering the path. A monk entering the path walks the path in two ways: with the words of the Dharma and the silence of the noble ones. In a place of rest, one should recite the verses of the scriptures. Where there is water, one should recite the verses about who the water belongs to and its deity. Where one is going to stay, one should recite the third generation lineage. If a monk entering the path does not correctly accept and practice the established practices, he will commit a serious offense. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was staying in Shravasti in the Jeta Grove of Prince Jeta, Anathapindika's Garden. The monks, holding their Dharma robes, put the complete dyed Dharma robes on their shoulders and entered the path, and those robes became impure with dust and dirt. The Blessed One said: It should be made into a bag, put in there and respected. After the Blessed One said that the clothes should be put in a bag and respected, the monks did not know how to make a bag for the Dharma robes, so the Blessed One

said: To sew a robe, the length of the cloth is three cubits, and the width is one and a half cubits, fold and sew the two ends. The monks sewed the edges last, and as a result, it looked like an elephant's trunk. The Blessed One said: Do not sew the edges last, but sew the middle first. They did not sew the edges, and as a result, dust entered. The Blessed One said: Make a net with thread, and then pass other threads through it. Those Dharma robes that are worn are placed underneath, and the others are placed on top, and when they repeatedly open the pleats, they become scattered. The Blessed One said: Those that are worn are placed on top, and the rest are placed underneath. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was staying in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove of Prince Jeta, in the Anathapindika's Garden Monastery. At that time, robbers robbed travelers, blamed each other and fled. The people of each village gathered from their homes, arrested and severely tortured the robbers. They were helpless, hungry and thirsty, and in order to find water, they dug and went to a well. The leader of the thieves said: Wise ones, look here for water buckets and ropes. They looked and there was neither rope nor water bucket. The leader said: Wise ones, if any travelers come, hide the ropes and water buckets, and climb up the tree to watch. They climbed up the tree and began to watch, and after a while, they saw some monks coming from afar. They said: Leader, many sons of the Shakya clan are coming. The leader said: Wise ones, those people are clever, they must have ropes and water buckets. They said: Leader, if they have them, that would be great. If not, we will cut open their bellies and drink their blood. They sat there discussing this, and the monks also arrived. The robbers asked: Venerable ones, we are thirsty, do you have ropes and water buckets? They said: Good sirs, we do not. The robbers became angry and reached for their weapons, and at that time, the elder of the Sangha
