The Bhagavan instructed, 'Therefore, it is permitted that a knowledgeable bhikshu should cut his hair in a secluded place, and not regret it.' The Bhagavan instructed, 'A knowledgeable bhikshu should cut his hair in a secluded place.' A bhikshu went to that bhikshu and said, 'Venerable one, the Bhagavan has permitted it, please cut your hair.'
