Those winds turn the one dwelling in the womb, then clasping the two hands together, place them at the door of the mother's womb. That is karma and its result.

Joyful one, if that (fetus) has previously committed and accumulated virtuous deeds that will make it live long, then it will not be reversed and unable to come out, nor will its life force be cut off. From that act (of birth), the mother of that (fetus) will not experience intense, rough, unbearable, unpleasant painful feelings even for a moment. After the thirty-eighth week has passed, with great painful feelings, great intensity, great roughness, and great unbearableness, (the fetus) comes out of the mother's womb.
