བ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །སྙམ་དུ་རིག་ནས་དེས་སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་སོགས་པ་དགེ་སློང་གི་དགེ་འདུན་རང་གི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་གདུགས་ཚོད་ལ་སྤྱན་དྲངས་ནས་ཞལ་ཟས་གཙང་ཞིང་བསོད་པ་བཤམས་ཏེ་གདན་དག་གི་སྟེང་དུ་གོས་བཏིང་ངོ། །དེ་ནས་གདན་བཤམས་ཟིན་པ་དང་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་སྤྱན་འདྲེན་གྱིས་སྤྱན་དྲངས་ན། དགེ་སློང་གི་དགེ་འདུན་ནི། གཤེགས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ནི། གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ན་བཞུགས་ཤིང་བསོད་སྙོམས་དྲངས་སོ། །སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་རྣམས་ནི། རྒྱུ་རྣམ་པ་ལྔས་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ན་བཞུགས་ཤིང་བསོད་སྙོམས་འདྲེན་ཏེ། ལྔ་གང་ཞེ་ན། ནང་དུ་ཡང་དག་འཇོག་བཞེད་པར་གྱུར་པ་དང། ལྷ་རྣམས་ལ་ཆོས་སྟོན་བཞེད་པར་གྱུར་པ་དང། ནད་པ་གཟིགས་བཞེད་པར་གྱུར་པ་དང། གནས་མལ་གཟིགས་བཞེད་པར་གྱུར་པ་དང། ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་བཅའ་བར་བཞེད་པའོ། །དོན་འདི་ལ་ནི་སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ ལྡན་འདས་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་བཅའ་བར་བཞེད་ནས་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ན་བཞུགས་ཤིང་བསོད་སྙོམས་དྲངས་སོ། །དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལམ་གར་ཆར་པ་བབ་ནས་དེ་དག་གི་གོས་ཆར་པས་གཤེར་བཞིན་དུ་འཁོད་པས། གང་གི་གོས་ཅི་འདྲ་བས་འཁོད་པ་དེའི་དེ་ཁོ་ན་ལྟ་བུའི་སྦྲ་སྦྲེ་བྱུང་བར་ གྱུར་པ་བྲམ་ཟེ་དེས་མཐོང་བ་དང། འཁྲུགས་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། བདག་གི་ཟང་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་དག་ཟོང་དུ་མི་རུང་བར་བགྱིས་ཀྱི། གོས་འདི་དག་ཁྱེད་ཐལ་བྱུང་སྣོམས་ཤིག་། ཅེས་ཟེར་བའི་སྐབས་དེ། དགེ་སློང་དག་གིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་། བྲམ་ཟེ་དེས་མ་དད་བ་སྐྱེས་ནས་བྱིན་པས་བླང་བར་མི་བྱའོ། །དེ་འཁྲུགས་པ་དེ་དང་བྲལ་ནས་ཡང་དེས་དད་པའི་སེམས་ཀྱིས་ཕུལ་བའི་སྐབས་དེ། དགེ་སློང་དག་གིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་། ད་ནི། བྲམ་ཟེ་དེས་དད་པའི་སེམས་ཀྱིས་ཕུལ་བས་བླང་བར་བྱ་སྟེ། བླངས་ནས་ཀྱང་རུང་བ་བྱས་ལ་བགོ་བར་བྱའོ། །དགེ་སློང་དག་གིས་བླངས་པ་དང། བྲམ་ཟེ་དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཨེ་མའོ་འཕགས་པ་དག་། གདུགས་བཅང་པའི་རིགས་སོ། །སྐབས་དེ། དགེ་སློང་དག་གིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། གལ་ཏེ་དེ་ལྟ་ན། རྗེས་སུ་གནང་སྟེ། དགེ་སློང་དག་གིས་གདུགས་བཅང་བར་བྱའོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགེ་སློང་དག་གིས་གདུགས་བཅང་པར་བྱའོ། །ཞེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ་དང། དྲུག་སྡེ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་གདུགས་ཀྱི་རྩ་བ་གསེར་དང། དངུལ་དང། བཻ་ཌཱུརྱ་དང།

就这样转变了。心想之后，他就将佛陀等比丘僧团请到自己家中，在伞盖下供养洁净的食物和布施，并在干净的坐垫上铺设衣物。之后，坐垫铺设完毕，便迎请世尊。比丘僧团则已离去。世尊则住在精舍中，正在乞食。诸佛世尊以五种原因住在精舍中并乞食，是哪五种呢？即：想要在内部如实安住，想要为天神们说法，想要看望病人，想要看望住所，以及想要为声闻众制定调伏的学处。就此而言，诸佛世尊想要为声闻众制定调伏的学处，因此住在精舍中并乞食。比丘们在路上遇到下雨，他们的衣服被雨淋湿，当他们安坐时，婆罗门看到他们的衣服因淋湿而呈现出各种各样的褶皱，感到恼怒并说道：我的这些布料都不能做成商品了，你们这些苦行者，把这些衣服都弄脏了！当他说这些话的时候，比丘们禀告了世尊，世尊说道：比丘们，婆罗门因生起不信任而给予的，不应接受。当他脱离了愤怒，又以信任之心供养的时候，比丘们禀告了世尊，世尊说道：比丘们，现在，婆罗门以信任之心供养的，应当接受，接受后也要做成合用的并进行分配。比丘们接受后，婆罗门说道：唉呀，这些尊者们，是持伞的种姓啊！这时，比丘们禀告了世尊，世尊说道：如果这样的话，就允许吧，比丘们可以持伞。世尊说道：比丘们可以持伞。这样说了之后，六群比丘们用黄金、白银和吠琉璃等制作伞柄。

Thus it transformed. Thinking this, he invited the Buddha and the Sangha of monks to his home under the shade of umbrellas, offered clean food and alms, and spread cloths on clean cushions. After the cushions were laid out, he invited the Blessed One. The Sangha of monks had already departed. The Blessed One was staying in the monastery, begging for alms. The Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, stayed in the monastery and begged for alms for five reasons. What are these five? Namely: wanting to abide truly within, wanting to teach the Dharma to the gods, wanting to visit the sick, wanting to visit the dwellings, and wanting to establish the basis for training the Shravakas in discipline. In this regard, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, wanting to establish the basis for training the Shravakas in discipline, therefore stayed in the monastery and begged for alms. The monks encountered rain on the road, and their clothes were wet from the rain. As they sat down, the Brahmin saw the various wrinkles that had formed in their clothes due to the rain. Annoyed, he said: These cloths of mine cannot be made into merchandise! You ascetics, you have soiled these clothes! As he said these words, the monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said: Monks, what the Brahmin gives out of distrust should not be accepted. When he was free from anger and offered again with a trusting heart, the monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said: Monks, now, what the Brahmin offers with a trusting heart should be accepted. After accepting, it should be made suitable and distributed. After the monks accepted, the Brahmin said: Alas, these venerable ones are of the umbrella-bearing lineage! At this time, the monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said: If that is so, then allow it. Monks may carry umbrellas. The Blessed One said: Monks may carry umbrellas. After saying this, the group of six monks made umbrella handles out of gold, silver, and vaidurya.

用玻璃做的，而且光彩夺目，用搅乳做的。伞是，用白色和孔雀翎做的。婆罗门和居士们看见后，他们说道：圣者们，这是什么？世尊赐予了伞。圣者们，沙门你们是被何种享乐所困扰？为何拿着这样的伞？他们说道：敌人们的喉咙被脚踩着，被享乐所困扰。 在他们责骂的时候，众比丘向世尊禀告，世尊开示说：不应拿着那样的伞，然而应拿着用茹达根和树叶做的两种伞。世尊开示说应拿着两种伞。说完后，六群比丘把伞柄做得又长又长，竖起伞柄进入城市中。婆罗门和居士们看见后，心想：这是哪个富人、商人、船长或什么人来了，于是起身观察。有些人前去迎接，当他们看见时，变得不相信。这时，众比丘向世尊禀告，世尊开示说：伞柄不应做得又长又长，然而应安立与身体等高的伞柄，不应在城市中举着伞行走。世尊开示说不应在城市中举着伞行走。有多少比丘们一起和谐地游方，暂时在村庄里路过时，他们心想：世尊开示说不应在城市中举着伞行走，应该放弃村庄。想着这些，他们放弃了村庄，因为与同伴们分离，被强盗抢劫。这时，众比丘向世尊禀告，世尊开示说：如果路过村庄的中央，应该把伞收起来行走，对此不要后悔。托钵者们去托钵。

Made of glass, and also bright and very bright, made of churned milk. The umbrellas were made of white and peacock feathers. Brahmins and householders saw them and said, "Venerable ones, what is this? The Blessed One has given umbrellas." "Venerable ones, are you ascetics afflicted by what kind of enjoyment? Why do you carry such umbrellas?" They said, "The throats of enemies are pressed down by feet, and we are afflicted by the enjoyment of desires." At the time when they were being reproached, the monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said, "Such umbrellas should not be carried. However, two kinds of umbrellas made of Ruta roots and leaves should be carried." The Blessed One said that two kinds of umbrellas should be carried. After saying this, the group of six made the umbrella handles very long and raised the umbrella handles and went into the city. The Brahmins and householders saw this and thought, "Which rich person, merchant, captain, or who is coming?" and got up to observe. Some went to greet them, and when they saw them, they became disbelieving. At that time, the monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said, "The umbrella handles should not be made very long. However, an umbrella handle equal to the height of the body should be erected, and one should not walk in the city carrying an umbrella." The Blessed One said that one should not walk in the city carrying an umbrella. As many monks were traveling together harmoniously, and for a while they happened to pass through a village, they thought, "The Blessed One has said that one should not walk in the city carrying an umbrella, so we should abandon the village." Thinking this, they abandoned the village, and because they were separated from their companions, they were robbed by thieves. At that time, the monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said, "If you happen to pass through the center of a village, you should put down the umbrella and walk, and do not regret this." Those who go for alms went for alms.
