The Blessed One taught, 'One should not lean waist against waist, one should not put one's leg on another, one should not bend one's legs, one should not spread one's legs; one should teach them to sit like this in the house.' When the food came, they took the bowls and threw them outwards, and when the rice porridge was spilled on the ground, the nuns with few desires began to scold. The Blessed One taught, 'One should receive food well.' Similarly, until being invited to someone's house, however much rice porridge and vegetables were spilled from the bowl onto the ground, that much was taken up.
