འགྲོ་བར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག་བཅོས་མ་འདི་ལྟར་འདོང་ངོ་ཞེས། ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་འཕྲུམ་ཞིང་འགྲོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། འགྲོ་བར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག་རྐང་པའི་བྲང་བ་དྲས་པ་དག །འདི་ལྟར་འདོང་ངོ་ཞེས་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་རྐང་པ་བྲང་བས་འཛུགས་ཤིང་འགྲོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། འགྲོ་བར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་ རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག །ཁྱིམ་འབིགས་པ་དག་འདི་ལྟར་འདོང་ངོ་ཞེས་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་འཕྱེ་ཞིང་འགྲོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། འགྲོ་བར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག་ནོར་ཅན་དང། ཚོང་དཔོན་དག་འདི་ལྟར་འདོང་ངོ་ཞེས་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་དཀུར་བརྟེན་ཅིང་འགྲོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མི་བགད་པ་དང། མི་མཆོད་བ་དང། བྲང་བས་མི་གཟུག་པ་དང། མི་འཕྱེ་བ་དང། དཀུར་མི་བརྟེན་པར་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་འཇུག་པ་དང། འདུག་པར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག །གླང་པོ་ཆེ་དག་འདི་ལྟར་འགྲོའོ་ཞེས་ལུས་བསྒྱུར་ཞིང་འགྲོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ལུས་བསྒྱུར་ཞིང་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་འཇུག་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག །ནོར་ཅན་དང་ཚོང་དཔོན་དག་འདི་ལྟར་འདོང་ངོ། །ཞེས་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་ལག་པ་དཀྱོགས་ཀ་བྱེད་ཅིང་འགྲོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དེ་ལྟར་འགྲོ་བར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག་སྲོག་ཆགས་རྩངས་པ་དང་འདི་ལྟར་འགྲོའོ་ཞེས་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་མགོ་བསྒྱུར་ཞིང་འགྲོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། The incident occurred in Shravasti. Then, the group of twelve bhikkhunis bared their shoulders and walked into the villages. The nuns said to them, "Sisters, why do you walk with your shoulders bared?" They replied, "If wicked people see us, their hearts will burst." The Blessed One instructed, "They should enter the villages very discreetly and neatly." When entering the villages, they made loud and great noises. The Blessed One instructed, "They should enter humbly." Then, they walked looking at each other. The Blessed One instructed, "They should enter the villages without their eyes wandering." They walked without looking ahead. The Blessed One instructed, "They should enter the villages very discreetly, neatly, humbly, without their eyes wandering, looking as far as the yoke, and they should learn how to sit down." The Blessed One said: Do not cover your head, do not hold the tree stump, do not drape your robes, do not cross your necks, do not drape your robes over both shoulders, enter the house, and you should learn to abide.
