. Scattering grass is also like that, and promises should also be made. Noble mothers, these seven methods for resolving disputes come from reciting the Pratimoksha Sutra every half month. One should give direct discipline to those who deserve direct discipline, give discipline by remembrance to those who deserve discipline by remembrance, give discipline by non-delusion to those who deserve discipline by non-delusion, give many rules to those who deserve many rules, give investigation of their own nature to those who deserve investigation of their own nature, and give scattering grass to those who deserve scattering grass. Those who have disputes should be disciplined, pacified, and completely pacified in accordance with the Dharma, the Vinaya, and the teachings of the teacher by these seven methods for resolving disputes. Noble mothers, I have finished reciting the seven methods for resolving disputes. To this, I will ask the noble mothers: Are you all completely pure in this? Are you all completely pure in this? I will ask this twice and three times. If the noble mothers are all completely pure in this, then they will accept it as such by not speaking. Noble mothers, I have finished reciting the introduction to the Pratimoksha Sutra. I have recited the eight defeat dharmas, the twenty Sanghavasesa dharmas, the thirty-three Nissaggiya Pacittiya dharmas, the one hundred and eighty Pacittiya dharmas, the eleven Patidesaniya dharmas, many training rules, and the seven methods for resolving disputes. These are the teachings included and summarized in the Sutra of the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha. Furthermore, in accordance with the Dharma that arises from others, you should cultivate yoga with desire, harmony, joy, non-dispute, constantly guarding your mind, and with mindfulness and diligence. Patience is the supreme austerity; the Buddha said that patience is the highest Nirvana. A renunciate should not harm others, nor should they injure others; they are not ascetics. Those with eyes, with existing beings, as appropriate, in this world where the wise live, sin.

Those should be completely abandoned. Do not slander, do not harm. Also, guard the Pratimoksha. Also, know the measure of food. One should dwell in a remote place. One should truly practice higher mind. This is the teaching of the Buddha. Just as a bee from a flower, without harming the color and fragrance, flies away after taking the honey. Similarly, the Muni wanders in the village. I should examine caste and non-caste, not the discord of others, and what others have done and not done. One should be mindful of higher mind, and learn the precepts of the Muni. Obtaining peace, always possessing mindfulness, the protector is without sorrow. Giving increases merit. Being well-tamed, one will not become an enemy, etc. Possessing virtue, one abandons evil. Exhausting afflictions, one transcends sorrow. Do not do all evils, practice perfect goodness. Tame your own mind. This is the teaching of the Buddha. The discipline of the body is good, the discipline of speech is good. The discipline of the mind is also good. In all places, discipline is good. A fully disciplined monk is completely liberated from all suffering. Guarding speech and well-taming the mind, not doing unwholesome deeds with the body, if one cultivates these three paths of action, one will attain the path spoken by the sages. Homage to Avalokiteshvara Buddha, the crown protects all. Buddhas Vipashyin, Shikhin, Vishvabhu, Krakucchanda, Kanakamuni, Kashyapa and Shakyamuni, are the gods of gods. Tamer of beings, unsurpassed tamer. They are the protectors of the world, the supreme saviors. These seven heroic Buddhas, the Pratimoksha of the renowned ones, are extensively proclaimed here. Here, the Buddhas and, the Buddha's Shravakas also respect. By treating this with respect, may one attain the unconditioned. One should initiate and arise. One should enter the Buddha's teaching. Just as an elephant destroys a reed house. One should destroy the army of the Lord of Death. Whoever carefully, practices in this Dharma and Vinaya, having abandoned the cycle of birth, will end suffering. For the sake of mutually guarding the precepts, and for the sake of the increase of the teachings, this Pratimoksha is proclaimed, and the Sangha performs Posadha.
