ས་པ། དགའ་བོ་ཉེ་དགའ་ཇི་སྲིད་དུ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་བཞུགས་ཤིང་བདག་ཅག་གསོན་པ་དེ་སྲིད་དུ་བསྟན་པ་གནས་ལ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཡོངས་སུ་མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་ཤིང་བདག་ཅག་དུས་ལ་བབ་ན་བསྟན་པ་ནུབ་པར་བརྗོད་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། ཇི་སྲིད་དུ་བདག་ཅག་གསོན་པ་དེ་སྲིད་དུ་བསྟན་པ་ལ་གཅེས་པ་བསྐྱེད་པར་བྱས། ཚུལ་ཤིང་བླང་ངོ་ཞེས་དེ་དག་གིས་ཚུལ་ཤིང་བླངས་ཏེ། དེར་དོང་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་ཆོས་བསྟན་པས་རྒྱལ་པོ་མངོན་པར་དད་པར་བྱས་སོ། །བཙུན་མོ་དང་། གཞོན་ནུ་དག་དང་། ཞང་བློན་དང་། ཁྲོམ་གྱི་རུ་སྣ་དག་ལ་ཡང་ཆོས་བསྟན་པས་སྐྱེ་བོ་ཕལ་པོ་ཆེའི་ཚོགས་མངོན་པར་དད་པར་བྱས་སོ། །ཀོ་ས་ལར་བྱུང་བའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གསལ་རྒྱལ་གྱིས་བློན་པོ་རྣམས་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། རི་བྲགས་པ་བསྐོར་དུ་འདོང་ངོ་ཞེས་དེ་དག་འཕགས་པ་དང་། དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། དགའ་བོ་ཉེ་དགའ་བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཡུན་ཇི་སྲིད་དུ་གཞན་གྱི་སྤྱོད་ལམ་གྱིས་གནས་པར་བྱ། རང་གི་སྤྱོད་ལམ་གྱིས་གནས་པར་བྱས། གསུས་པོ་ཆེའི་དམག་ཅི་འདྲ་བ་ལྟར་འདོང་ངོ་ཞེས་དེ་དག་ལམ་ཀར་དོང་སྟེ་འཁོད་པ་དང་། ཇི་ཙམ་ན་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་པའི་ཚོགས་འོངས་ནས་དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དག་ཤུལ་ཕྱེ་ཤིག་ཤུལ་ཕྱེ་ཤིག །ཅི་བྱ། གླང་པོ་ཆེའི་ཚོགས་མཆིའོ། །བཀྲེན་པ་དག་འདི་འདྲ་བ་དག་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་ཡིན་ནམ། ཕག་པ་དག་འདྲའོ་ཞེས་དེ་དག་གིས་དེ་དག་གི་མཆེ་བ་དག་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ་མཐའ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བོར་རོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་རྟ་པའི་ཚོགས་འོངས་ནས་དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དག་ཤུལ་ཕྱེ་ཤིག་ཤུལ་ཕྱེ་ཤིག །ཅི་བྱ། རྟ་པའི་ཚོགས་མཆིའོ། །བཀྲེན་པ་དག་འདི་འདྲ་བ་དག་རྟ་ཡིན་ནམ། བོང་བུ་དག་འདྲའོ་ཞེས་དེ་དག་གིས་དེ་དག་གི་མཇུག་མ་དག་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ་མཐའ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བོར་རོ། ། ཇི་ཙམ་ན་ཤིང་རྟ་པའི་ཚོགས་འོངས་ནས་དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དག་ཤུལ་ཕྱེ་ཤིག་ཤུལ་ཕྱེ་ཤིག །ཅི་བྱ། ཤིང་རྟ་པའི་ཚོགས་མཆིའོ། །བཀྲེན་པ་དག་འདི་འདྲ་བ་དག་ཤིང་རྟ་ཡིན་ནམ། ཤིང་རྟ་ཞིག་པ་དག་འདྲའོ་ཞེས་དེ་དག་གིས་དེ་དག་གི་སྲོག་ཤིང་དག་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ་མཐའ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བོར་རོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་དཔུང་བུ་ཆུང་གི་ཚོགས་འོངས་ནས་དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དག་ཤུལ་ཕྱེ་ཤིག་ཤུལ་ཕྱེ་ཤིག །ཅི་བྱ། དཔུང་བུ་ཆུང་གི་ཚོགས་མཆིའོ། །བཀྲེན་པ་དག་འདི་འདྲ་བ་དག་མི་ཡིན་ནམ། རྩྭ་མི་དག་འདྲའོ་ཞེས་དེ་དག་གིས་དེ་དག་གི་གཉའ་བ་དག་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ་མཐའ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བོར་ནས་དེ་དག་སེམས་ཁོང་དུ་ཆུད་ཅིང་འཁོད་དོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་ཀོ་ས་ལར་བྱུང

萨瓦。 迦沃涅迦沃，只要世尊住世，我们还活着，教法就存在。 世尊圆寂，我们时机成熟时，就说教法衰落了。 只要我们活着，就应该珍视教法。 拿起戒尺吧。 他们拿起戒尺后，在那里，从根本上向国王宣讲佛法，使国王非常信服。 向王妃、年轻人、大臣和市场的领头人也宣讲佛法，使广大人群非常信服。 拘萨罗国出现的国王光明王对大臣们说： 我们去绕山吧。 他们对圣者和六群比丘说： 迦沃涅迦沃，我们多久才能按照别人的行为生活呢？ 应该按照自己的行为生活。 像大腹便便的军队一样前进吧。 他们在路边挖坑坐下。 过了一会儿，象队的队伍来了，他们说： 圣者们，让开路，让开路！ 干什么？ 象队来了。 吝啬鬼们，这些家伙是象吗？ 像猪一样。 他们抓住那些家伙的象牙，扔到一边。 过了一会儿，骑兵的队伍来了，他们说： 圣者们，让开路，让开路！ 干什么？ 骑兵的队伍来了。 吝啬鬼们，这些家伙是马吗？ 像驴子一样。 他们抓住那些家伙的尾巴，扔到一边。 过了一会儿，车兵的队伍来了，他们说： 圣者们，让开路，让开路！ 干什么？ 车兵的队伍来了。 吝啬鬼们，这些家伙是车吗？ 像破车一样。 他们抓住那些家伙的车轴，扔到一边。 过了一会儿，小部队的队伍来了，他们说： 圣者们，让开路，让开路！ 干什么？ 小部队的队伍来了。 吝啬鬼们，这些家伙是人吗？ 像草人一样。 他们抓住那些家伙的脖子，扔到一边，然后那些家伙醒悟过来，坐下了。 过了一会儿，拘萨罗国出

Sapa. Gavo Nyegavo, as long as the Blessed One remains and we are alive, the teachings will abide. When the Blessed One passes into complete nirvana and our time comes, it will be said that the teachings have declined. As long as we are alive, we should cherish the teachings. Take up the rule stick. After they took up the rule stick, there, they taught the Dharma to the king from the root, causing the king to have great faith. They also taught the Dharma to the queen, the youths, the ministers, and the leaders of the market, causing a great multitude of people to have great faith. King Light, who appeared in the land of Kosala, said to the ministers: Let us go around the mountain. They said to the noble ones and the group of six monks: Gavo Nyegavo, for how long shall we live according to the conduct of others? We should live according to our own conduct. Let us proceed like an army with large bellies. They dug a pit on the road and sat down. After a while, a troop of elephants came and they said: Noble ones, make way, make way! What is happening? A troop of elephants is coming. You misers, are these fellows elephants? They are like pigs. They grabbed the tusks of those fellows and threw them aside. After a while, a troop of cavalry came and they said: Noble ones, make way, make way! What is happening? A troop of cavalry is coming. You misers, are these fellows horses? They are like donkeys. They grabbed the tails of those fellows and threw them aside. After a while, a troop of charioteers came and they said: Noble ones, make way, make way! What is happening? A troop of charioteers is coming. You misers, are these fellows chariots? They are like broken chariots. They grabbed the axles of those fellows and threw them aside. After a while, a troop of small soldiers came and they said: Noble ones, make way, make way! What is happening? A troop of small soldiers is coming. You misers, are these fellows men? They are like straw men. They grabbed the necks of those fellows and threw them aside, and then those fellows came to their senses and sat down. After a while, the land of Kosala...
