་ཏུ་འཇུད་དམ། གཞི་བལྟ་བའི་ཕྱིར་དགེ་སློང་དག་ཀྱང་མི་ཁྲིད་དམ། དགེ་སློང་ཁྲིད་པ་དག་ལ་གཞི་མི་སྟོན་ན་དགེ་འདུན་ལྷག་མའོ། །དགེ་སློང་གིས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་དྲུག་སྡེའམ་གཞན་ཡང་ཆོས་འདིས་པས་སོ། །བདག་པོ་ཡོད་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི། གང་ལ་བདག་པོ་སྐྱེས་པའམ་བུད་མེད་དམ་མ་ནིང་ཡོད་པའོ། །དགེ་འདུན་གྱི་ཕྱིར་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་དགེ་འདུན་གྱི་ཕྱིར་རོ། །གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་གང་དུ་སྤྱོད་ལམ་བཞི་པོ་འཆག་པ་དང་། འགྲེང་བ་དང་། འདུག་པ་དང་། ཉལ་པ་དག་ཤོང་པའོ། །ཆེན་པོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་ཆེན་པོ་གཉིས་པོ་སྦྱིན་པར་བྱ་བ་དང་ཚད་ཀྱིས་ཏེ། དེ་ལས་འདིར་ནི་སྦྱིན་པར་བྱ་བས་ཆེན་པོར་དགོངས་པ་ཡིན་གྱི་ཚད་ཀྱིས་ནི་མ་ཡིན་ནོ། །བརྩིག་ཏུ་འཇུད་ན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་བདག་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་སམ་གཞན་གྱིས་སོ། །གཞི་བལྟ་བའི་ཕྱིར་དགེ་སློང་དེས་དགེ་སློང་དག་བཀྲི་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ལ། གཞི་བལྟ་བའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་ས་གཞི་རུང་བ་དང་། རྩོད་པ་མེད་པ་དང་། བརྩམ་དུ་རུང་བ་ཉིད་བལྟ་བའི་ཕྱིར་རོ། །དགེ་སློང་དེས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་དགེ་སློང་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེས་སོ། །དགེ་སློང་དག་བཀྲི་བར་བྱ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་དེ་ན་དགེ་སློང་གང་དག་ཡོད་པ་དག་ཡིན་གྱི། ཇི་ཙམ་གྱིས་གཞི་དེ་མིག་གིས་བལྟས་པར་འགྱུར་བའི་དགེ་སློང་དེ་ཙམ་བཀྲི་བར་བྱ་བ་ནི་མ་ཡིན་ནོ། །གལ་ཏེ་དེ་ན་སྦྲུལ་གྱི་གནས་སམ། སྡིག་པའི་གནས་སམ། སྲིན་གྱི་གནས་སམ། གྲོག་མའི་གནས་ཡོད་པ་ཡིན་ན་མི་རུང་བ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར་བསྟན་པར་མི་བྱའོ། །གལ་ཏེ་རུང་བ་ཡིན་ན་དེའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཉེ་བར་བརྟག་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། གལ་ཏེ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་གཞིའམ། མཆོད་རྟེན་གྱི་གཞིའམ། ཁྱིམ་བདག་གི་གཞིའམ། མུ་སྟེགས་ཅན་གྱི་གཞིའམ། དགེ་སློང་མའི་དབྱར་ཁང་ངམ། ཤིང་ལྗོན་པ་གཅད་པར་བྱ་བ་ཡོད་ ན་རྩོད་པ་དང་བཅས་པ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར་བསྟན་པར་མི་བྱའོ། །གལ་ཏེ་གཞི་རུང་བ་དང་རྩོད་པ་མེད་པ་ཡིན་ན་དེའི་ཉེ་འཁོར་འདོམ་གང་ཁོ་ར་ཁོར་ཡུག་ཉེ་བར་བརྟག་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། གལ་ཏེ་དེ་ན་གཞི་ཆུ་ཀླུང་ལ་རྟེན་ཏམ། ཁྲོན་པ་ལ་རྟེན་ཏམ། ལམ་ལ་རྟེན་ཏམ། ངམ་གྲོག་ལ་རྟེན་པ་ཡིན་ན་བརྩམ་དུ་མི་རུང་བའི་ཕྱི་བསྟན་པར་མི་བྱའོ། །གལ་ཏེ་གཞི་དེ་རུང་བ་དང་རྣམ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཡོངས་སུ་རྫོགས་པ་ཡིན་ན། དགེ་སློང་དེས་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུ་སོང་སྟེ། གནས་མལ་བཤམ་པ་བྱས་ནས་གཎྜཱི་བརྡུངས་ཏེ་དྲིས་པའི་ཚིག་གིས་དགེ་སློང་དག་ལ་བསྐུལ་ནས་དགེ་འདུན་ཐམས་ཅད་འདུག་ཅིང་མཐུན་པར་གྱུ

难道要让他建造吗？为了看地基，难道也不带领比丘们吗？带领的比丘们不看地基，是僧残。比丘是指六群比丘或其他持此法者。有主是指有主人的，或者有女人或太监。为了僧团是指为了如来声闻僧团。精舍是指能够容纳四种行为，即行走、站立、坐卧的地方。大是指两种大，即布施和大，这里指的是以布施为大，而不是以大小为大。如果让他建造，是指自己或他人。关于“为了看地基，那个比丘应当带领比丘们”，为了看地基是指为了看土地是否合适，没有争端，可以开始建造。那个比丘是指哪个比丘。应当带领比丘们是指那里有哪些比丘，而不是说要带领多少比丘才能用眼睛看到那个地基。如果那里有蛇穴、蝎子穴、罗刹穴或蚂蚁穴，因为不合适，所以不能指示。如果合适，应当在其下仔细观察，如果那是国王的地基、佛塔的地基、施主的地基、外道的地基、比丘尼的夏安居处，或者有要砍伐的树木，因为有争端，所以不能指示。如果地基合适且没有争端，应当在其周围一箭之遥的地方仔细观察，如果那里地基依靠河流、水井、道路或悬崖，因为不适合建造，所以不能指示。如果那个地基合适且各方面都圆满，那个比丘应当去精舍，铺设座位后，敲击犍椎，用询问的话语劝请比丘们，使所有僧团聚集且和合。

Should he be allowed to build? Shouldn't the monks also be led to inspect the site? If the monks who are led are not shown the site, it is a Sanghavasesa. 'Monk' refers to the group of six or others who uphold this Dharma. 'Having an owner' means having an owner, or having a woman or an eunuch. 'For the Sangha' means for the Sangha of the Buddha's disciples. 'Monastery' means a place that can accommodate the four activities: walking, standing, sitting, and lying down. 'Great' refers to the two kinds of greatness: giving and size. Here, it refers to greatness through giving, not through size. 'If he is allowed to build' means by himself or by others. Regarding 'For the sake of inspecting the site, that monk should lead the monks,' 'for the sake of inspecting the site' means to inspect whether the land is suitable, without disputes, and can be started for construction. 'That monk' refers to whichever monk it is. 'Should lead the monks' means whichever monks are there, not that as many monks as are needed to see the site with their eyes should be led. If there is a snake's nest, a scorpion's nest, a demon's nest, or an ant's nest there, it should not be indicated because it is not suitable. If it is suitable, it should be carefully examined underneath. If it is the foundation of a king, the foundation of a stupa, the foundation of a householder, the foundation of a heretic, the summer residence of a nun, or if there are trees to be cut down, it should not be indicated because it is contentious. If the site is suitable and without disputes, the surrounding area within a fathom should be carefully examined. If the site relies on a river, a well, a road, or a cliff, it should not be indicated because it is not suitable for construction. If that site is suitable and complete in all aspects, that monk should go to the monastery, prepare the seats, strike the ghanta, and urge the monks with words of inquiry, so that the entire Sangha gathers and becomes harmonious.
