གྱུར་ཏོ། །ཕུ་བོ་ཤོས་ཀྱིས་ཕ་ཆོས་དང་ཆོས་མ་ཡིན་པས་མདུན་ན་འདོན་བྱེད་པ་མཐོང་ནས་དེས་བསམས་པ། བདག་ཕ་ཤི་ནས་མདུན་ན་འདོན་དུ་གྱུར་ཏེ། བདག་གིས་ཀྱང་ཆོས་དང་ཆོས་མ་ཡིན་པས་མདུན་ན་འདོན་བྱས་ན་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་པ་རྣམས་སུ་གཞོལ་བར་འགྱུར་གྱིས། མ་ལ་བདག་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་ནས་དེས་ཕ་ལ་གསོལ་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ངོ་། །ཇི་ཙམ་དུས་གཞན་ཞིག་ན་མདུན་ན་འདོན་ཤི་ནས་ནུ་བོ་ཤོས་མདུན་ ན་འདོན་དུ་བཅུག་སྟེ། དེ་ཆོས་དང་ཆོས་མ་ཡིན་པས་མདུན་ན་འདོན་བྱེད་པར་བརྩམས་ཏེ། སྐྱེ་བོའ་ཚོགས་ལ་འཚེ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་མི་ཞིག་ཕན་ཚུན་འཁྱམ་འཁྱམ་པ་ལས་ཕུ་བོ་ཤོས་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བ་དེའི་དྲུང་དུ་སོང་བ་དང་། དེས་དེ་ལ་དྲིས་པ། ཁྱོད་གང་ནས་འོངས། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ཆེ་གེ་མོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས་སོ། །དེ་གཏམ་དྲི་བར་བརྩམས་པ་དང་། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། རྒྱལ་པོའ་མདུན་ན་འདོན་ཤི་ནས་དེའི་བུ་ནུ་བོ་ཤོས་མདུན་ན་འདོན་དུ་བཅུག་སྟེ། དེ་ཆོས་མ་ཡིན་པས་མདུན་ན་འདོན་བྱེད་པས་སྐྱེ་བོའ་ཚོགས་འཚེ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། དུས་ཅུང་ཟད་ཅིག་ནོགས་ཤིག་དང་། བདག་ཉིད་དེར་སོང་ནས་ཕན་པ་མ་ཡིན་པ་ལས་བཟློག་པར་བྱ་ཞིང་། ཇི་ལྟར་ཡུལ་མི་རྣམས་ལ་མི་གནོད་པར་ཕན་པར་བྱེད་པ་ལ་སྦྱར་བར་བྱའོ། །མི་དེས་གཉེན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་དྲུང་དུ་སོང་སྟེ་སྐབས་དེ་སྨྲས་པ་ཐོས་པ་གཅིག་ནས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བརྒྱུད་ནས། ནུ་བོ་ཤོས་དེས་ཐོས་ནས་དེས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ལྷ་བདག་གི་ཕུ་བོ་དེ་མཆིས་ལགས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། ལེགས་ཀྱིས་དེ་ཉིད་མདུན་ན་འདོན་དུ་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ལྷ་ཁྱོད་ལ་བདག་གིས་དུས་འདི་སྲིད་ཅིག་ཏུ་ཞམ་འབྲིང་བགྱིས་པ་ནི་དོན་མ་མཆིས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། འདི་ནི་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཆོས་ཡིན་ཏེ། དེ་ཕུ་བོ་ཡིན་པས་སོ། །འོན་ཀྱང་རྣམ་པ་གཅིག་གིས་ཁྱོད་མདུན་ན་འདོན་དུ་འགྱུར་བ་ཡོད་དེ། གལ་ཏེ་དེ་འོངས་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་བདག་ཕུ་བོ་ལགས་སོ་སྨྲོས་ཤིག །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། བཀའ་བཞིན་འཚལ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སྨྲ་བར་བགྱིའོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་དེ་འོངས་པ་དེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པས་མཐོང་ནས་ལངས་པ་དང་། དེ་ནི་མ་ལངས་སོ། །ངེས་དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱོད་ཁོ་བོའ་ནུ་བོ་ཡིན་ན་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་མི་ལྡང་། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱོད་ཉིད་ནུ་བོ་ཡིན་གྱི་ཁོ་བོ་ནི་ཕུ་བོ་ཡིན་ནོ། །གལ་ཏེ་ཁྱོད་ཡིད་མི་ཆེས་ན་བདག་ཅག་ནི་རྒྱལ་པོའ་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ་ཆེན་པོར་གྱུར་པས་ལྷ་ལ་ཞུའོ། །ཕུ་བོས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་དྲིས་པ། ཀྱེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་བདག་ཅག་གཉིས་ལས་ཕུ་བོ་གང་ལགས་པ་གསུང་ཤིག །རྒྱལ་པོས་ཤེས་བཞིན་དུ་བརྫུན་གྱི་ཚིག་སྨྲས་པ། འདི་ནི་ཕུ་བོ་ཡིན་ནོ། །ཁྱོད་ནི་ནུ་བོ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་ཚིག་སྨྲས་མ་ཐག་ཁོ་ནར་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སྟན་བཏང་བས་ས་ལ་རྡབ་ནུས་ཏེ། དེའི་ཁ་ནས་རུལ་བའི་དྲི་བྱུང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །མདུན་ན་འདོན་གྱི་ཕུ་བོ་ཤོས་ཀྱིས་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་དེ་སྨྲས་པ། བརྫུན་གྱི་ཚིག་ནི་གསུངས་པས་ན། །ལྷ་རྣམས་འདི་ནས་དོང་བ་དང་། །ཞལ་ཡང་མནམ་པར་གྱུར་ནས་སུ། །མཐོ་རིས་ལས་ཀྱང་ཉམས་པར་གྱུར། །རྒྱལ་པོ་བདེན་པར་གསུང་ཤིག་ཀྱེ། །སྔོན་གྱི་ཇི་ལྟ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྱུར། །གལ་ཏེ་བརྫུན་ནི་གསུང་མཛད་ན། །སེམས་པ་འོག་ཏུ་ངེས་པར་བཞུད། །གང་ཞིག་ཆོས་བཞིན་འདྲི་བ་ལ། །ཆོས་མ་ཡིན་པ་སྟོན་བྱེད་ན། །ཆུ་ན་རྒྱུ་བའི་ཉ་བཞིན་དུ། །དེ་ནི་ལྕེ་མ་མཆིས་པར་འགྱུར། །རྒྱལ་པོས་བདེན་པར་གསུང་ཤིག་ཀྱེ། །སྔོན་གྱི་ཇི་ལྟ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྱུར། །གལ་ཏེ་བརྫུན་ནི་གསུང་མཛད་ན། །སེམས་པ་འོག་ཏུ་ངེས་པར་བཞུད། །གང་ཞིག་ཆོས་བཞིན་འདྲི་བ་ལ། །ཆོས་མ་ཡིན་པ་སྟོན་བྱེད་ན། །དེེར་ནི་སྐྱེས་པ་མི་སྐྱེ་ཞིང་། །དེར་ནི་སྐྱེས་པར་སྐྱེ་མི་འགྱུར། །རྒྱལ་པོ་བདེན་པར་གསུང་ཤིག་ཀྱེ། །སྔོན་གྱི་ཇི་ལྟ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྱུར། །གལ་ཏེ་བརྫུན་ནི་གསུང་མཛད་ན། །སེམས་པ་འོག་ཏུ་ངེས་པར་བཞུད། །གང་ཞིག་ཆོས་བཞིན་འདྲི་བ་ལ། །ཆོས་མ་ཡིན་པ་སྟོན་བྱེད་ན། །ལྷས་ནི་དུས་སུ་ཆར་མི་འབེབས། །དེར་ནི་དུས་མ་ཡིན་པར་འབབ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་བདེན་པར་གསུང་ཤིག་ཀྱེ། །སྔོན་གྱི་ཇི་ལྟ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྱུར། །གལ་ཏེ་བརྫུན་ནི་གསུང་མཛད་ན། །སེམས་པ་འོག་ཏུ་ངེས་པར་བཞུད། །གང་ཞིག་ཆོས་བཞིན་འདྲི་བ་ལ། །ཆོས་མ་ཡིན་པ་སྟོན་བྱེད་ན། །སྦྲུལ་བཞིན་དུ་ནི་སྐྱེ་བོ་དེའི། ། ལྕེ་གཉིས་དག་ནི་འབྱུང་བར་འགྱུར། །རྒྱལ་པོ་བདེན་པར་གསུང་ཤིག་ཀྱེ། །སྔོན་གྱི་ཇི་ལྟ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྱུར། །གལ་ཏེ་བརྫུན་ནི་གསུང་མཛད་ན། །སེམས་པ་འོག་ཏུ་ངེས་པར་བཞུད། །དེ་ལྟར་རྒྱལ་པོ་སེམས་པ་ཡིས། །ཤིན་ཏུ་མི་བཟད་ལས་བྱས་ནས། །སྡིག་པ་བྱེད་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་གནས། །དམྱལ་བ་མནར་མེད་ཐོབ་པར་གྱུར། །དགེ་སློང་དག་ཇི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས། དེའི་ཚེ་དེའི་དུས་ཀྱི་ཕུ་བོ་ཤོས་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ནི་ང་ཉིད་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་དེའི་དུས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ་སེམས་པ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ནི་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་འདི་ཉིད་ཡིན་ཏེ། དེ་ན་ཡང་འདི་ངས་སྨྲས་པའི་ཚིག་མ་མཉན་པས་མནར་མེད་པའི་སེམ

变成了那样。大儿子看到父亲以佛法和非法事主持祭祀，心想：我父亲死后成了祭祀主持人，如果我也以佛法和非法事主持祭祀，众生就会堕入地狱。不如我出家吧！于是他向父亲请求，在世尊的教法下出了家。过了不久，祭祀主持人死了，最小的弟弟被任命为祭祀主持人，他开始以佛法和非法事主持祭祀，残害百姓。不久，一个人四处游荡，来到了出家的大儿子那里。他问那个人：你从哪里来？那人说：从某某王宫来的。那人开始打听消息，他说：国王的祭祀主持人死了，他的小儿子被任命为祭祀主持人，他以非法事主持祭祀，残害百姓。他说：请稍等片刻，我亲自去那里，阻止他作恶，让他不再危害百姓，而是为百姓谋福利。那人回到亲戚们那里，把听到的情况一传十，十传百。小弟弟听说了，对国王说：陛下，我的哥哥在那里。国王说：很好，让他来做祭祀主持人吧。他说：陛下，我为您效劳了这么久，难道毫无意义吗？国王说：这是世间的规矩，因为他是哥哥。不过，有一种办法可以让你继续做祭祀主持人：如果他来了，你就说“您是我的哥哥”。他说：遵命，我会那样说的。不久，他来了，国王和大臣们看到他来了，都站了起来，唯独他没有站起来。那人对他说：如果你是我的弟弟，为什么不站起来？他说：你才是弟弟，我是哥哥。如果你不相信，我们是在王宫里长大的，可以问神灵。

It turned out that way. The eldest son saw his father officiating at sacrifices with Dharma and non-Dharma matters, and thought: After my father died, he became the host of sacrifices. If I also host sacrifices with Dharma and non-Dharma matters, sentient beings will fall into hell. I might as well become a monk! So he asked his father, and became a monk under the teachings of the Blessed One. After a while, the host of sacrifices died, and the youngest brother was appointed as the host of sacrifices. He began to host sacrifices with Dharma and non-Dharma matters, harming the people. Soon, a man wandered around and came to the eldest son who had become a monk. He asked the man: Where did you come from? The man said: From a certain royal palace. The man began to inquire about the news, and he said: The king's sacrificial host is dead, and his youngest son has been appointed as the sacrificial host. He hosts sacrifices with illegal matters, harming the people. He said: Please wait a moment, I will go there myself to stop him from doing evil, so that he will no longer harm the people, but seek benefits for the people. The man returned to his relatives and passed on what he heard from one to another. The younger brother heard about it and said to the king: Your Majesty, my brother is there. The king said: Very good, let him be the host of sacrifices. He said: Your Majesty, I have served you for so long, is it meaningless? The king said: This is the rule of the world, because he is the elder brother. However, there is a way for you to continue to be the host of sacrifices: if he comes, you will say, "You are my elder brother." He said: I will obey and say that. Soon, he came, and the king and his ministers saw him coming and stood up, but he did not stand up. The man said to him: If you are my brother, why don't you stand up? He said: You are the younger brother, I am the elder brother. If you don't believe it, we grew up in the royal palace, and we can ask the gods.

弟弟问国王： “国王啊，我们两个谁是哥哥，请说。” 国王明明知道，却说了谎话：“这是哥哥，你是弟弟。” 话音刚落，众神就撤走了他的座位，使他摔倒在地，他的口中发出了腐烂的气味。 前面的领诵师用偈颂说道： 因为说了谎话， 众神从此离去， 脸也变得难闻， 从天界也堕落了。 国王请说真话， 恢复如初。 如果说了谎话， 心识必定沉沦。 对于如法提问者， 如果示以不如法， 犹如水中游动的鱼， 他将失去舌头。 国王请说真话， 恢复如初。 如果说了谎话， 心识必定沉沦。 对于如法提问者， 如果示以不如法， 那里不会生出男子， 那里也不会生出已生的男子。 国王请说真话， 恢复如初。 如果说了谎话， 心识必定沉沦。 对于如法提问者， 如果示以不如法， 天神不会按时降雨， 那里会不按时降雨。 国王请说真话， 恢复如初。 如果说了谎话， 心识必定沉沦。 对于如法提问者， 如果示以不如法， 像蛇一样，那个人的 舌头将会变成两条。 国王请说真话， 恢复如初。 如果说了谎话， 心识必定沉沦。 如此，国王心识造作了 极其不悦意的业， 堕入罪人所去的 遭受无间地狱。 比丘们，你们怎么想？ 那时那刻的哥哥就是我。 那时那刻的国王心识就是提婆达多， 即使在那时，他也没有听从我说的话，所以堕入了无间（地狱）。

The foremost reciter spoke in verse: Because a lie was spoken, The gods departed from here, And the face became unpleasant, And fell from the heavens. O King, please speak the truth, And restore it as before. If a lie is spoken, The mind will surely sink. To one who asks according to the Dharma, If one shows what is not Dharma, Like a fish swimming in water, He will lose his tongue. O King, please speak the truth, And restore it as before. If a lie is spoken, The mind will surely sink. To one who asks according to the Dharma, If one shows what is not Dharma, There, a man will not be born, There, a man who is born will not be born. O King, please speak the truth, And restore it as before. If a lie is spoken, The mind will surely sink. To one who asks according to the Dharma, If one shows what is not Dharma, The gods will not send rain in season, There, it will rain out of season. O King, please speak the truth, And restore it as before. If a lie is spoken, The mind will surely sink. To one who asks according to the Dharma, If one shows what is not Dharma, Like a snake, that person's Tongue will become two. O King, please speak the truth, And restore it as before. If a lie is spoken, The mind will surely sink. Thus, the king's mind committed An extremely unpleasant deed, And fell into the place of sinners, Suffering in the Avīci hell. Monks, what do you think? At that time, the elder brother was myself. At that time, the king's mind was Devadatta himself, Even then, he did not listen to my words, so he fell into Avīci (hell).
