བསྐྱེད་ཅིང་ཚིག་ ཏུ་ཡང་སྨྲས་པ། བདག་རུས་པའི་ཁོང་ནས་ཀྱང་སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྲོའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། རང་གི་ལུས་ཀྱིས་མནར་མེད་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་ཆེན་པོར་ལྷུང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་གྱིས་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་མཚམས་སྦྱར་ཏེ། མནར་མེད་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་ཆེན་པོར་བསྐལ་པར་གནས་ནས་རང་བྱང་ཆུབ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བྱས་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། རང་སངས་རྒྱས་རུས་པ་ཅན་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་མངོན་པར་བྱང་ཆུབ་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་བསོད་སྙོམས་ལ་སོང་ནས་དེ་མཐའ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བཞག་སྟེ། ལག་པ་འཁྲུ་ཞིང་སེམས་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ། བདག་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཡུན་རིང་པོར་འཁོར་བ་ན་འཁོར་བར་གྱུར་སྙམ་པ་ལས་དེས་བསམས་ན། བདག་གིས་ཚེ་རབས་ཚེ་རབས་སུ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཤཱཀྱ་ཐུབ་པ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔར་གྱུར་པ་དང་། ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་པ་ཤེས་བྱ་ལ་མངའ་བརྙེས་པ་ལ་ཡང་ཕ་རོལ་གནོན་པ་བྱས་ལ། དེ་ཡང་རྙེད་པ་དང་བཀུར་སྟིའི་ཕྱིར་ཡིན་པར་ཤེས་ནས། དེས་བསོད་སྙོམས་དེ་ཡང་ལོངས་མ་སྤྱད་པར་སྟེང་གི་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་མངོན་པར་འཕགས་ཏེ། འབར་བ་དང་། གསལ་བ་དང་། ཆར་འབེབས་པ་དང་། གློག་འབྱིན་པའི་ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་དག་བྱས་ནས་ཕུང་པོ་ལྷག་མ་མེད་པའི་མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པའི་དབྱིངས་སུ་ཡོངས་སུ་མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདའ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དང་། མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་ཀུན་ཏུ་སྤྱོད་པ་ནི་དུས་དུས་སུ་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བར་རྒྱུ་ཞིང་འགྲོ་བ་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་རང་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་ལུང་བསྟན་གྱིས། ཚུར་བདག་ཅག་མནར་མེད་པའི་དམྱལ་བ་ཆེན་པོའ་ནང་དུ་དོང་ལ་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་སྤྲོ་བ་སྲིང་ངོ་ཞེས་དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དང་། མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་གཉིས་མནར་མེད་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་ཅེན་པོའི་ནང་དུ་དོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་རྣམས་ལ་སོམས་ཤིག །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་ཇི་ལྟར་སེམས་མཉམ་པར་གཞག་ན་ཆར་པའི་རྒྱུན་གཏུན་ཤིང་ཙམ་འབབ་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་ལ་སྙོམས་པར་ཞུགས་པ་དང་། ཆུ་དེ་མནར་མེད་པའི་ལྕེ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་བསྐམས་སོ།

生起并且也说了这些话：我从骨髓深处也皈依佛陀薄伽梵，这样说完之后，自己的身体就堕入了无间地狱。然后，薄伽梵对众比丘说：比丘们，提婆达多已经连接了善根的开端，在无间地狱中住留一劫之后，将现证自己的菩提，将成为名为骨的独觉佛。他现证菩提之后，立即去乞食，并将它放在一边，洗手并开始思考：我为什么在轮回中如此长久地流转？他这样思考之后，他想到：我在生生世世中，对释迦牟尼佛薄伽梵，曾经是菩萨，以及对一切智者、知识的主宰也进行了压制，而且那是因为贪图利养和恭敬。他知道之后，没有享用那份食物，而是将其升到天空，展现出燃烧、光明、降雨、闪电的神变，然后在无余涅槃的境界中完全入灭。具寿舍利子和目犍连的行持是时常在众生地狱中游走。然后，具寿舍利子对具寿大目犍连说了这样的话：具寿大目犍连，薄伽梵已经授记提婆达多将证得独觉菩提，来吧，我们一起进入无间大地狱，让提婆达多感到快乐。然后，具寿 舍利子和具寿大目犍连一起进入了无间有情大地狱。然后，具寿舍利子对具寿大目犍连说：具寿大目犍连，请观察地狱的众生。然后，具寿大目犍连如何平等地安住于心中呢？就像雨水如木桩般倾泻而下，他那样入定，那水就在无间地狱众生的舌头之间干涸了。

Having arisen, he also spoke these words: 'I take refuge in the Buddha, the Bhagavan, even from the depths of my bones.' Having said this, his own body fell into the great hell of unremitting suffering. Then, the Bhagavan addressed the monks, saying: 'Monks, Devadatta has connected the root of virtue at the boundary. Having remained in the great hell of unremitting suffering for a kalpa, he will realize his own enlightenment. He will become a solitary buddha named 'Bone'. Immediately after his enlightenment, he will go for alms, and having placed it to one side, he will wash his hands and enter into contemplation. He will think, 'Why have I wandered in samsara for so long?' As he thinks this, he will realize that in lifetime after lifetime, he has suppressed the Bhagavan Shakyamuni, who was once a Bodhisattva, and the all-knowing master of knowledge, and that this was for the sake of gain and honor. Knowing this, he will not partake of the alms, but will raise it into the sky, perform miracles of burning, shining, raining, and lightning, and then completely pass into the realm of nirvana without remainder. The conduct of the venerable Shariputra and Maudgalyayana is to wander and travel in the hells of sentient beings from time to time. Then, the venerable Shariputra said to the venerable great Maudgalyayana: 'Venerable great Maudgalyayana, the Bhagavan has prophesied that Devadatta will attain solitary enlightenment. Come, let us enter the great hell of unremitting suffering and bring joy to Devadatta.' Then, the venerable Shariputra and the venerable great Maudgalyayana entered the great hell of unremitting suffering. Then, the venerable Shariputra said to the venerable great Maudgalyayana: 'Venerable great Maudgalyayana, observe the sentient beings in hell.' Then, how did the venerable great Maudgalyayana equally abide in his mind? Just as a torrent of rain falls like a wooden stake, he entered into such a samadhi, and that water dried up between the tongues of the beings in the unremitting hell.
