There is not even a little. Great King, what do you think? If so, haven't I shown the fruit of the ascetic path that is truly seen? Venerable one, yes. If so, the Blessed One has shown the fruit of the ascetic path that is truly seen. He dwells in equanimity, detached from the desire for joy, and is mindful and fully aware. He experiences happiness with his body, and the noble ones call it equanimity, abiding in happiness with mindfulness. Having perfected the third dhyana without joy, he abides. He truly moistens his body with the happiness without joy, completely moistens it, completely fills it, completely pervades it. In his entire body, like this, there is not even a little that is not pervaded or has not been pervaded by the happiness without joy. For example, an উৎপལ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), or a lotus, or a water lily, or a white lotus, growing out of the water and becoming very large, with its petals standing tall, the gaps from the root to the tip of those, like this, are pervaded by cool water or there is not even a little part that has not been pervaded. Similarly, he truly moistens his body with the happiness without joy, completely moistens it, completely fills it, completely pervades it. In his entire body, like this, there is not even a little that is not pervaded or has not been pervaded by the happiness without joy. Great King, what do you think? He has abandoned happiness, and also abandoned previous suffering, and with the disappearance of pleasure and displeasure, it is neither happiness nor suffering, having perfected the fourth dhyana with equanimity and completely pure mindfulness, he abides. He especially inclines his body with a completely pure and completely purified mind, pervading and abiding completely. In his entire body, like this, there is not even a little that is not pervaded or has not been pervaded by a completely pure and completely purified mind. For example, a house

I or the son of a householder, with eight or nine cubits of cloth, covers the head, hands, and feet. From the head and hands to the feet, the entire body is like this: completely covered with clean cloth, with not even a little bit uncovered or not covered. Similarly, with a completely pure and thoroughly purified mind, he especially cherishes and pervades that body, then abides in completeness, so that his entire body is like this: there is not even a little bit that is not pervaded or has not been pervaded by a completely pure and thoroughly purified mind. Great King, what do you think? If so, have I not shown the fruit of the ascetic path that is seen as it truly is? Venerable one, yes, if so, the Blessed One has shown the fruit of the ascetic path that is seen as it truly is. Great King, when a noble disciple has abandoned pleasure, and previously abandoned suffering, and joy and displeasure have also ceased, and he abides having perfected the fourth dhyana, which is neither pleasure nor pain, but equanimity and complete purity of mindfulness, at that time his mind is neither agitated nor depressed. Without agitation and without depression, he attains unwavering abiding. For example, in a multi-storied house or on the veranda of a multi-storied house, an oil lamp is lit, and the flame of that lamp is not moved or shaken by the wind from the space between birds, humans, and non-humans, that flame is neither agitated nor depressed. Abiding without agitation and without depression, it burns unwaveringly. Similarly, when a noble disciple has abandoned pleasure, and previously abandoned suffering, and joy and displeasure have also ceased, and he abides having perfected the fourth dhyana, which is neither pleasure nor pain, but equanimity and complete purity of mindfulness, at that time his mind is neither agitated nor depressed. Without agitation and without depression, having attained unwavering abiding, he then thinks this: 'This form of my body is coarse, arising from the cause of the four great elements, and my consciousness relies on this, abides in this, and pervades and abides in this. It is not that I move my mind from this body and create another mind-made body.'
