Serving the Sugata will be a great thing for you. Venerable Shariputra, I do not enjoy being the attendant of the Blessed One. Why is that? Because, like this, the Buddha Blessed One is difficult to approach and difficult to endure. For example, a burning fire is difficult to approach and difficult to endure. Similarly, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, are also difficult to approach and difficult to endure, therefore I do not enjoy being the attendant of the Blessed One. For example, the claws of the king of beasts, the lion, dwelling in a mountain cave, are difficult to approach and difficult to endure.
