་སེམས་ཏེ། འདི་ལྟར་དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཆེན་པོ་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་ཆེ་ཞིང་མཐུ་ཆེ་བ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ཡ་མཚན་ཆེ་མོད་ཀྱི་བདག་ཀྱང་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡིན་ནོ་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལྟེང་རྒྱས་ན་ལྟེང་རྒྱས་འོད་སྲུང་རལ་པ་ཅན་གྱི་བསྟི་གནས་ཀྱི་ནགས་ཚང་ཚིང་ན་བཞུགས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ནཻ་རཉྫ་ནའི་ཆུ་ཆེར་བྲུག་ནས་བབ་བོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཆུ་ཀླུང་མི་གང་བས་ལྷག་པས་ཁེབས་པའི་སྟེང་ནས་ས་རྡུལ་གྱིས་ཡོག་པ་བླ་གབ་མེད་པ་ལ་འཆག་པས་འཆག་པར་མཛད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ལྟེང་རྒྱས་འོད་སྲུང་རལ་པ་ཅན་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་ལྟར་མཛེས་པ་ཆུ་ཆེན་པོ་བྲུག་པས་ཁྱེར་བར་མ་གྱུར་གྲང་། མ་ལ་བདག་གིས་དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཆེན་པོ་བཙལ་ལོ་སྙམ་དུ་བསམས་ནས། ཤིང་གཅིག་པའི་གྲུའི་ནང་དུ་ཞུགས་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་བཙལ་བ་ན། ལྟེང་རྒྱས་འོད་སྲུང་རལ་པ་ཅན་གྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཆུ་ཀླུང་མི་གང་བས་ལྷག་པས་ཁེབས་པའི་སྟེང་ནས་རྡུལ་གྱིས་ཡོག་པ་བླ་གབ་མེད་པ་ན་འཆག་པས་འཆག་པ་མཐོང་ངོ་། །མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཆེན་པོ་གསོན་ནམ། འོད་སྲུང་གསོན་ནོ། །དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཆེན་པོ་ཞུགས་ཤིང་གཅིག་པའི་གྲུར་འཇུག་གམ། འོད་སྲུང་འཇུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་དགོངས་ཏེ། མ་ལ་ངས་ཇི་ལྟར་ཐུགས་མཉམ་པར་བཞག་ན་ཤིང་གཅིག་པའི་གྲུ་ཇི་ལྟ་བར་ཆུ་ལ་འཇུག་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་མངོན་པར་འདུ་བྱ་བ་འདུ་བྱའོ་སྙམ་ནས། དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཇི་ལྟར་ཐུགས་མཉམ་པར་བཞག་ན་ཤིང་གཅིག་པའི་གྲུ་ཇི་ལྟ་བར་ཆུ་ལ་འཇུག་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་མངོན་པར་འདུ་མཛད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ལྟེང་རྒྱས་འོད་སྲུང་རལ་པ་ཅན་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། འདི་ལྟར་དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཆེན་པོ་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་ཆེ་ཞིང་མཐུ་ཆེ་བ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ཡ་མཚན་ཆེ་མོད་ཀྱི་བདག་ཀྱང་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡིན་ནོ་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཐུགས་ཀྱིས་ལྟེང་རྒྱས་འོད་སྲུང་རལ་པ་ཅན་གྱི་སེམས་མཁྱེན་ནས། ལྟེང་རྒྱས་འོད་སྲུང་རལ་པ་ཅན་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ཏོ། །འོད་ སྲུང་ཁྱོད་ནི་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་མ་ཡིན། དགྲ་བཅོམ་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བྱ་བའི་ཕྱིར་ཞུགས་པ་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ། དགྲ་བཅོམ་པའི་ལམ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ཡང་མི་ཤེས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ལྟེང་རྒྱས་འོད་སྲུང་རལ་པ་ཅན་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཆེན་པོ་གཽ་ཏ་མའི་ཐུགས་ཀྱིས་བདག་གི་སེམས་མཁྱེན་ཏོ་སྙམ་དུ་རིག་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ

心想：这位大沙门神通广大，威力强大，虽然很神奇，但我也认为我是阿罗汉。之后，世尊住在莲花增长处，莲花增长处是光护发者的住所的茂密森林中。当时，尼连禅河水势汹涌而下。之后，世尊在水流覆盖的、高于人身的水面上，行走在尘土飞扬、没有遮盖的地方。之后，莲花增长光护发者心想：如此美妙的大沙门，莫非被大水冲走了？我应该寻找这位大沙门。想着，便登上独木舟，寻找世尊。莲花增长光护发者看见世尊在水流覆盖的、高于人身的水面上，行走在尘土飞扬、没有遮盖的地方。看见后，便对世尊说道：大沙门，您还活着吗？光护，我还活着。大沙门，您要登上这独木舟吗？光护，我要登。之后，世尊心想：我应该如何入定，才能像独木舟入水一样，显现神通呢？想着，世尊便入定，像独木舟入水一样，显现神通。之后，莲花增长光护发者心想：这位大沙门神通广大，威力强大，虽然很神奇，但我也认为我是阿罗汉。之后，世尊以他的心，知晓了莲花增长光护发者的心，便对莲花增长光护发者说道：光护，你不是阿罗汉，也不是为了实现阿罗汉的果位而修行，你甚至不知道什么是阿罗汉的道路。之后，莲花增长光护发者心想：大沙门乔达摩的心知道我的心。意识到后，便对世尊说道。

Thinking: This great ascetic has great supernatural powers and great power. Although it is amazing, I also think that I am an Arhat. Then, the Blessed One lived in the lotus growth place, in the dense forest of the residence of the light-protecting hair-wearer in the lotus growth place. At that time, the Nairanjana River rushed down with great force. Then, the Blessed One walked on the water covered by the flowing water above the human body, in a dusty and uncovered place. Then, the lotus growth light-protecting hair-wearer thought: Such a wonderful great ascetic, could it be that he was washed away by the flood? I should look for this great ascetic. Thinking, he boarded a dugout canoe and looked for the Blessed One. The lotus growth light-protecting hair-wearer saw the Blessed One walking on the water covered by the flowing water above the human body, in a dusty and uncovered place. After seeing him, he said to the Blessed One: Great ascetic, are you still alive? Light-protecting, I am still alive. Great ascetic, would you like to board this dugout canoe? Light-protecting, I will board. Then, the Blessed One thought: How should I meditate so that I can manifest supernatural powers like a dugout canoe entering the water? Thinking, the Blessed One entered meditation and manifested supernatural powers like a dugout canoe entering the water. Then, the lotus growth light-protecting hair-wearer thought: This great ascetic has great supernatural powers and great power. Although it is amazing, I also think that I am an Arhat. Then, the Blessed One, with his mind, knew the mind of the lotus growth light-protecting hair-wearer, and said to the lotus growth light-protecting hair-wearer: Light-protecting, you are not an Arhat, nor are you practicing to realize the fruit of Arhatship, you don't even know what the path of Arhatship is. Then, the lotus growth light-protecting hair-wearer thought: The mind of the great ascetic Gautama knows my mind. Realizing this, he said to the Blessed One.
