他把她留在家里，然后回来了。然后，众生之母摩诃波阇波提·瞿昙弥率领五百眷属，以头顶礼世尊的双足，然后坐于一旁。世尊也为他们宣说了佛法。当他宣讲佛法时，一位释迦族的女子，脖子上戴着珍珠项链，迅速地观看并用手触摸它。然后，世尊开始宣讲关于无常的佛法。然而，她并没有专注于佛法，而只是思念着珍珠项链。名门望族之妻，圣洁之人，看到了那位脖子上戴着珍珠项链的释迦族女子迅速地思念着它。看到后，她心想：如果说这些有为法如此无常，那么她对这珍珠项链如此执着，如此迅速地思念它又有什么意义呢？如果我能看到我的珍珠项链，她所有的傲慢都会消失吧。想到这里，她对使女的女儿，侍女说：侍女，去把她的珍珠项链迅速拿来。那位听法的人专心致志，心想：哎呀，如果像这样讲法，我被女主人责骂，就会成为听法的障碍。总之，沦为奴隶的本性真是可悲啊。想到这里，她被痛苦和不适所折磨，用偈颂说道：凡以罪恶，今日得瞻仰国王之面容，不能从善逝之口，听闻无垢之佛法，身为奴隶，受他人支配，众多痛苦真是可悲啊，我的生活是前世业力所致，真是糟糕。然后，世尊心想：这位侍女虽然对过去的诸佛做了很多善事，但她寿命很短，我应该把她从轮回的监狱中解救出来。于是，他以神通写在纸上：若有善根生，当思为坏灭，我所说善法，应勤奋听闻。写完后交给了她。然后，侍女心中生起欢喜、满足、喜悦和舒适，一边说着偈颂一边走向佛陀。

He left her at home and then returned. Then, the great mother of beings, Mahāprajāpatī Gautamī, with five hundred attendants, bowed her head to the feet of the Blessed One and sat to one side. The Blessed One also preached the Dharma to them. While he was preaching the Dharma, a Shakya woman, wearing a pearl necklace around her neck, quickly looked at it and touched it with her hand. Then, the Blessed One began to preach the Dharma about impermanence. However, she did not focus on the Dharma, but only contemplated the pearl necklace. The wife of a great family, a holy person, saw the Shakya woman wearing a pearl necklace around her neck quickly contemplating it. Seeing this, she thought: If these conditioned things are said to be so impermanent, then what is the point of her being so attached to this pearl necklace and contemplating it so quickly? If I could see my pearl necklace, all her arrogance would disappear. Thinking this, she said to the daughter of the maidservant, the attendant: Attendant, go and quickly bring her pearl necklace here. The one listening to the Dharma was focused and thought: Alas, if the Dharma is preached like this, I will be scolded by the mistress and it will become an obstacle to listening to the Dharma. In short, to be reduced to the nature of a slave is truly miserable. Thinking this, she was tormented by suffering and discomfort, and said in verse: Whoever, with evil deeds, today is able to behold the face of the king, and is unable to hear the stainless Dharma from the mouth of the Sugata, being a slave, under the control of others, with many sufferings, is truly miserable, my life is obtained by past karma, it is truly terrible. Then, the Blessed One thought: This attendant has done many good deeds for the Buddhas of the past, but she has a short life, I should release her from the prison of samsara. So, he wrote on a piece of paper with his miraculous power: If good roots arise, think of them as perishable, the good Dharma I have spoken, you should diligently listen to it. After writing this, he gave it to her. Then, the attendant felt joy, satisfaction, delight, and comfort, and while reciting the verses, she went to the Buddha.

Just the focused mind is enough, and even small deeds, if accumulated and practiced at the right time, will not be exhausted even after hundreds of thousands of kalpas, and will eventually bring fruition to sentient beings. Therefore, the good deeds accumulated by a short-lived being were destroyed by six Vadrumas (possibly names). Because he died with strong faith in the Buddha, he was reborn in the womb of the holy queen of the King of Simhala (Sri Lanka) in the continent of Simhala. On the day he was conceived, a rain of pearls fell. The king summoned the fortune-tellers and asked about the situation, and they said, 'This deity is due to the power of a certain being entering the queen's womb.' In order to ripen the fetus, no unpleasant sounds were heard in the palace, and there were warming utensils when it was cold, and cooling utensils when it was hot. The food recommended by the doctor was neither too spicy nor too sour, not too salty, not too sweet, not too rough, nor too astringent. Spicy, sour, salty, sweet, rough, and astringent foods were avoided, and she was treated with such food, and her body was adorned with necklaces and silks, moving from throne to throne and from stool to stool like a heavenly maiden wandering in a joyful grove, never letting her feet touch the ground. After eight or nine months, she gave birth to a beautiful, pretty, and pleasing daughter. On the day she was born, a rain of pearls also fell, and the king thought, 'It seems that the power of the daughter has brought the rain of pearls, and this rain should turn into pearls.' So he gave the pearls to her. Thereafter, a grand birth celebration was held for her for twenty-one days, and they began to name the daughter. The ministers said, 'Because her power has brought the rain of pearls, let this girl be named Pearl Woman.' So, she was named Pearl Woman. Pearl Woman was entrusted to eight nannies: two to nurture her on their laps, two to nurse her, two to clean her dirt, and two as playmates. These eight nannies used milk
