ས་དེ་ལྟར་མི་བལྟ་སྟེ། འོན་ཀྱང་ངའི་དེ་ནི་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ་ཙམ་དང་། རྐྱེན་ཙམ་དང་། ཚོགས་ཙམ་ཡིན་ནོ། །བཙུན་པ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུང་ཉུ་ཐོག་མར་ཐུགས་གང་དུ་བསྐྱེད་ལགས། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་སྔོན་བྱུང་བརྒྱལ་པོ་འོད་ལྡན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བྱུང་སྟེ། དེའི་ཡུལ་དུ་གླང་པོ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མེ་ཏོག་ཀུ་མུ་དའི་མདོག་ལྟར་དཀར་བ། ཡན་ལག་བདུན་ཤིན་ཏུ་གནས་པ། གཟུགས་བཟང་པ། མཛེས་པ། བལྟ་ན་སྡུག་པ་ཞིག་བྱུང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་འདོད་ལྡན་གྱིས་གླང་པོ་འདུལ་མཁན་མཁས་པ་ཕོ་ཉས་བཀུག་ནས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །མཁས་པ་དེས་པ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་དམ་པ་འདི་མྱུར་དུ་ལེགས་པར་དུལ་བར་བྱོས་ལ་ང་ལ་ཕུལ་ཅིག །ལྷ་བཀའ་བཞིན་འཚལ་ཞེས་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་འདུལ་མཁན་མཁས་པས་རྒྱལ་པོ་འོད་ལྡན་ལས་མཉན་ནས་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་དམ་པ་དེ་འདུལ་བར་བྱེད་དེ། དེ་དུལ་བར་རིག་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་འོད་ལྔན་ལ་ཕུལ་ཏེ། ལྷའི་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་དམ་པ་ནི་དུལ་ལགས་པས་ལྷ་ད་དེའི་དུས་ལ་བབ་པར་མཁྱེན་པར་མཛད་དུ་གསོལ། དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་འོད་ལྡན་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་དམ་པ་དེ་ལ་ཞོན་ཏེ་གླང་པོའ་འདུལ་མཁན་ཡང་གོང་དུ་ཞོན་ནས་རི་དགས་འཆོར་དུ་སོང་ངོ་། ། ཇི་ཙམ་ན་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་དེས་ནགས་ཀྱི་བལ་གླང་མོའ་དྲི་ཚོར་ནས་དེས་དྲི་དེའི་རྗེས་བཞིན་དུ་བརྒྱུགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་རླུང་ལྟར་མགྱོགས་པས་ཁྱེར་བ་དང་། གླང་པོ་ཆེའི་ འདུལ་མཁན་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྱེ་གླང་པོ་འདུལ་མཁན་ནམ་མཁའ་འགུལ་བ་འདྲ་ཞིང་ཕྱོགས་ཀུན་མྱུར་དུ་འདུ་བར་འགྲོ་བ་འདྲ། །ས་ནི་མཐའ་དག་འཁོར་ལོ་བཞིན་འཁོར་ཤིང་རྣམས་མཁའ་ལ་འཁོར་བ་འདྲ། །གླང་པོའ་དབང་པོ་གངས་རི་འགྲོ་བ་ལྟ་བུ་འདི་རྒྱུག་མཐོང་ནས་ནི། །རི་བོ་འདི་རྒྱུག་སྙམ་ནས་རི་རྣམས་གྱ་ཙོམ་མྱུར་དུ་རྒྱུག་པ་འདྲ། །ཀྱེ་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་འདུལ་མཁན་གླང་པོ་ཆེའི་དབང་པོ་ཐུལ་ཅིག་ཐུལ་ཅིག །གླང་ཆེན་དབང་པོ་ཚར་གཅད་པར། །བཟང་པོ་རབ་ཏུ་འབད་པར་གྱིས། །གླང་ཆེན་གཉེའུ་རེངས་ཁྱེར་བ་ཡིས། །ཁོ་བོ་ཅིར་འགྱུར་གཏོལ་མེད་ཁྱེར། །གླང་པོ་ཆེ་འདུལ་བས་སྨྲས་པ། ལྷ་དྲང་སྲོང་དམ་པས་སྨྲས་པའི་གསང་སྔགས་བཟླས་བགྱི་ཞིང་། །འདི་ལ་ལྕགས་ཀྱུས་ཚར་བཅད་འབད་པ་ཡང་བགྱིན། །འཆི་བར་ངེས་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཚེ་ཡིས་སྨན་བཞིན་དུ། །གླང་པོ་འདི་ནི་བདག་སྟོབས་ཟིལ་གྱིས་མནན་ནས་མཆི། །མི་ཡི་དབང་པོ་ལྕགས་ཀྱུ་འམ། །ཞགས་པ་འམ་ཡང་ན་ལྕག་གིས་ཀྱང་། །

不要那样看。然而，我的这仅仅是无上正等觉的因，缘，和合而已。 尊者世尊最初在何处生起无上正等觉之心？ 大王，过去有一位国王名叫光胜。在他的国土里，出现了一头珍宝象，其颜色像库母达花一样洁白，七肢非常端正，形体美好，庄严，赏心悦目。 然后，光胜国王派使者召来驯象师，这样说道： 贤者，你迅速驯服这头神圣的大象，然后献给我。 驯象师贤者从光胜国王那里听到“如您所愿”后，便开始驯服那头神圣的大象。当他知道大象已经被驯服后，便献给光胜国王，说道： 神圣的大象已经被驯服，请您知晓现在是时候了。 然后，光胜国王骑上那头神圣的大象，驯象师也骑在上面，一起去狩猎。 不久，那头大象闻到了森林里母象的气味，便沿着气味追了过去。 然后，国王被像风一样快速的大象带着，他对驯象师说： 哎呀，驯象师，天空好像在摇动，四面八方好像迅速地聚集过来。 大地好像车轮一样旋转，树木好像在空中飞旋。 看到这头像雪山一样奔跑的象王， 我以为是山在奔跑，山峰们也好像惊慌失措地快速奔跑。 哎呀，驯象师，制服这头象王，制服它！ 为了制服这头象王， 请尽力努力！ 被这头僵硬的大象带着， 我会变成什么样，毫无预兆地被带走。 驯象师说道： 我将念诵天人圣者所说的秘密咒语， 我也将努力用铁钩来制服它。 就像用生命来治疗注定要死亡的人一样， 这头大象正在用我的力量压倒我。 人之王啊，用铁钩或者绳索，或者鞭子。

Do not look at it that way. However, this of mine is merely the cause, condition, and collection for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Venerable Lord, where did the Blessed One first generate the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment? Great King, in the past there was a king named Light-Possessed. In his country, there appeared a precious elephant, white as the color of the Kumuda flower, with its seven limbs perfectly in place, of good form, beautiful, and pleasing to behold. Then, King Light-Possessed summoned a skilled elephant trainer with a messenger and said this: O wise one, quickly and well tame this holy elephant and present it to me. The wise elephant trainer, having heard from King Light-Possessed, "As the god commands," proceeded to tame the holy elephant. When he knew that it was tamed, he presented it to King Light-Possessed, saying: The holy elephant is tamed, may the god know that the time for it has come. Then King Light-Possessed mounted the holy elephant, and the elephant trainer also mounted on top, and they went hunting. After a while, the elephant smelled the scent of a female elephant in the forest, and it ran after that scent. Then, the king, being carried by the elephant as fast as the wind, spoke to the elephant trainer: Alas, elephant trainer, the sky seems to be moving, and all directions seem to be gathering quickly. The earth is turning like a wheel, and the trees seem to be spinning in the sky. Seeing this elephant king running like a snow mountain, I thought the mountains were running, and the mountains seemed to be running in a flustered hurry. Alas, elephant trainer, subdue the elephant king, subdue it! To subdue the elephant king, Strive greatly for goodness! Carried away by the stiff elephant, What will become of me, carried away unexpectedly. The elephant trainer said: I shall recite the secret mantra spoken by the divine sage, I shall also strive to subdue it with an iron hook. Like medicine for the life of those destined to die, This elephant is overwhelming me with its power. O lord of men, with a hook, Or a rope, or even a whip.
