说：“智者们，那个年轻人是不认识的，你们这些臣子像往常一样征收地租和赋税吧。”他们又开始征收，那些人来来回回，被年轻人相好心看见了，说：“智者们，我不是禁止你们以后征收地租和赋税了吗？为什么你们又征收地租和赋税？如果暂时不征收，那样就好。如果不停止，就要处以重罚。”那些人害怕了，心想：“这个年轻人是能压制恶势力的，一定会对我们不利，会有这样的情况发生。我们去鸯伽国王那里告状吧。”想着，那些人就去鸯伽国王那里，去了之后说：“天神，我们是靠天神的食物为生的。我们征收天神的地租和赋税时，莲花大王之子，年轻人相好心阻止了我们。现在如果天神放任不管，以后会发生很大的危害。”又说了偈颂：树木年幼小时，指甲尚能将它断，一旦长大后，斧头百把也难断。鸯伽国王给莲花大王送信说：“要么把年轻人相好心从脖子上抓住带过来，要么准备好草和柴火，我亲自来。”莲花大王读了信后，很不高兴，手托着下巴，心里想着，坐着不动。他叫来年轻人相好心，说：“你为什么阻止靠鸯伽国王食物为生的人征收地租和赋税？他生气地给我送来这样的信。”他说：“天神，我们为什么要向他缴纳地租？儿子为什么要缴纳地租呢？”他说：“天神，他也是国王，是刹帝利种姓灌顶的，我们也是国王，是刹帝利种姓灌顶的，为什么要我们向他缴纳地租和赋税？天神只要赐予我四部军队就行了，我
