Strike them with "Oṃ Vajra Kīli Kīlāya Sarva Vighnāṃ Hūṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀཱི་ལི་ཀཱི་ལཱ་ཡ་སརྦ་བིགྷྣཱཾ་ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:ॐ वज्र कीलि कीलाय सर्व विघ्नाम् हुं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra kīli kīlāya sarva vighnāṃ hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Oṃ, Vajra, Kīli, Kīlāya, Sarva, Vighnāṃ, Hūṃ)." Oṃ, Vajra, Mudgara, Ā, Koṭaya, Hūṃ)." Even oneself, from the powerful one, clockwise, strikes and pounds the eight directions with a garland of light, and the east and west of above and below. If unable, the gatekeeper does it. Or, without a peg, just by the meditation as described before, do the striking, and with the palms facing up, turn them over, and saying "Oṃ Vajra Āḥ Hūṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨཱཿཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:ॐ वज्र आः हुं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra āḥ hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Oṃ, Vajra, Āḥ, Hūṃ)," strike the ground, and do it with such faith. This is striking obstacles with the peg. Then sit in the center of the mandala. Having made a fragrant mandala, from the earth goddess, meditate on the samaya-sattva. In the palm of the right hand, think of the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) syllable, and tap the three fingertips three times, and by that sound and the rays of light of the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) syllable, the earth goddess is urged to merge with the nature of the jñāna-sattva, becoming yellow, peaceful, wearing white celestial garments, possessing a joyful heart, adorned with various ornaments, holding a good golden vase in the left and another hand, making the gesture of fearlessness, with one face, abiding in front, make offerings and circumambulate properly, reciting: Oṃ, come here, great goddess of the earth! Mother of all worlds! Adorned with all jewels, decorated with excellent ornaments, possessing the sound of necklaces and anklets, greatly worshiping Vajrasattva, after accepting this offering, please accomplish the mandala! Hi hi hi hi hūṃ svāhā, reciting three times, with the preliminary of inviting and requesting to abide nearby, make her especially abide. Also saying, "Do it in this way," and think of her dissolving into it. Then, making the vajra knot inwards, touch the ground with it, and reciting "Oṃ Vajrī Bhava Hūṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲཱི་བྷ་བ་ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:ॐ वज्री भव हुं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajrī bhava huṃ,汉语字面意思:Oṃ, Vajrī, Bhava, Hūṃ)" three times, think of the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) syllable arising from the vajra knot emitting flames, becoming the vajra of great power, and reciting "Oṃ Vajra Dṛḍha Tiṣṭha (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཌྲྀ་ཌྷ་ཏིཥྚ,梵文天城体:ॐ वज्र दृढ तिष्ठ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra dṛḍha tiṣṭha,汉语字面意思:Oṃ, Vajra, Dṛḍha, Tiṣṭha)" three times, bless it. By this, one will gain control over the earth, this is the ritual for the earth goddess to especially abide. Then, on the ground of the mandala, praise the fragrant water and the five amṛtas with the three syllables.
