威严的坛城，如伞般的国王祈请道：世尊，未来之时，未来之世，在此赡部洲不降雨之时，说什么能使大雨连绵降下？在不悦意的时代，在灾害发生的时代，在非正法之人争斗的时代，在瘟疫疾病和灾害发生的时代，在疾病和死亡的时代，在凶星运行的时代，能使瘟疫疾病、伤害和一切灾害完全平息，如此这般的陀罗尼的秘密真言之根本，请您宣说。请以佛的加持力加持。什么能劝请一切龙，能令诸天完全欢喜，能令一切魔众彻底摧毁，能令一切有情众生的所有恐惧寂灭，能令一切灾害遣除，能令寂静和安乐，能令凶星所作之事完全平息，世尊所说的五种降雨的障碍，能令那些全部消除，能令在此赡部洲雨水连绵，善妙降下，如此这般的陀罗尼的秘密真言之根本，世尊您是至极慈悲，对一切有情众生有利益的慈爱，请您宣说。世尊，向如来祈请！如此祈请之后，世尊对龙王，即拥有无量眷属，以云彩布置的威严坛城，如伞般的国王说道：龙王，你为了所有有情众生的利益、安乐，向如来祈请，太好了，太好了！龙王，因此好好地仔细听，并记在心里。从大悲心中产生，具有大龙之声，名为“增长勇猛顶髻”的陀罗尼，为了所有有情众生的利益、安乐，诸佛所说，加持，随喜，现在开始宣说，那就是在无雨之时，能降雨。

The majestic mandala, the king like an umbrella, prayed: Bhagavan, in the future time, in the future age, in this Jambudvipa when there is no rain, what should be said to make great rain continuously fall? In the unpleasant times, in the times when disasters occur, in the times when people fight because of non-dharma, in the times when plagues and disasters occur, in the times of disease and death, in the times when inauspicious stars are present, may it completely pacify all plagues, harms, and disasters. Please explain the basis of such a dharani's secret mantra. Please bless with the blessings of the Buddha. What can urge all the nagas, make all the gods completely happy, completely destroy all the demons, destroy all the fears of all sentient beings, avert all disasters, bring peace and happiness, and completely pacify what the inauspicious stars have done? May it eliminate all the five obstacles to rain that the Bhagavan has spoken of, and may the rain continuously fall well in this Jambudvipa. Bhagavan, you are supremely compassionate, with loving-kindness that benefits all sentient beings, please explain the basis of such a dharani's secret mantra. Bhagavan, I pray to the Tathagata! After praying in this way, the Bhagavan said to the Naga King, who has immeasurable retinues, a majestic mandala arranged with clouds, and is like an umbrella: Naga King, it is good, very good, that you pray to the Tathagata for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of all sentient beings! Naga King, therefore, listen carefully and keep it in mind. The dharani called "Increasingly Courageous Crest Jewel," which arises from great compassion and has the sound of a great dragon, for the benefit, welfare, and happiness of all sentient beings, spoken by all Buddhas, blessed, and rejoiced in, will now be explained. That is, in times of no rain, it can bring rain.

With a great mind, invite the lords of the nagas. Remember the Buddhas, the Dharma of the Buddhas, and the qualities of the Bodhisattvas. Bhara Bhara, Dhiri Bhiri, Bhuru Bhuru. Those who possess the water of great rivers and the water of clouds, great servants who travel by hand, come with a mind of loving-kindness. Remember the sacred teachings of the Teacher. Ghaḍa Ghaḍa, Ghiḍi Ghiḍi, Ghuḍu Ghuḍu. Those who are fierce, possess great anger, and extend tongues of great poison, come with a mind of loving-kindness. By the truth of all the Tathagatas, send down rain upon this Jambudvipa, Svaha. Ṭa Ṭa Ṭa Ṭa, Ṭi Ṭi Ṭi Ṭi, Ṭu Ṭu Ṭu Ṭu. Those who possess the holding of a great jewel diadem, those with the form of venomous snakes, remember the blessings of the Three Jewels, and by the truth of Vajradhara, send down rain upon this Jambudvipa, Svaha. Kala Kala, Kili Kili, Kulu Kulu. Those who possess dwelling in great waters, those who ride upon a vehicle of piled-up great clouds and manifestly go forth, come. With a mind of loving-kindness, send forth a stream of rain upon this Jambudvipa. By the truth of the Tathagatas, and by the blessings of the Tathagatas, by the command of Vajrapani. Ra La Ra La, Ri Li Ri Li, Ru Lu Ru Lu. All you who travel by hand, without sleep, by the truth of the Tathagatas of the three times. Ghama Ghama, Ghimi Ghimi, Ghumu Ghumu Svaha. Summon all the nagas. With a mind of loving-kindness, with the mind of enlightenment as a guide. Nara Nara, Niri Niri, Nuru Nuru Svaha. Summon those with a thousand heads of various colors, red eyes, and great bellies of great strength. O, O, great travelers by hand, supremely compassionate, adorned with the splendor of all merit, free from afflictions. Remember the blessings of the Tathagatas. Gada Gada, Gidi Gidi, Gudu Gudu Svaha. Those who possess strength, the ability to harm others, and unimpeded splendor, send down streams of rain upon this Jambudvipa. Shara Shara, Shiri Shiri, Shuru Shuru Svaha.
