De Gön, Jiamsimei Gön, Chuxi Gön, Burakna Gön, Daka Gön, Zuoqin Gön, and Angzo Culture Do Gön, etc., all the large and small monasteries in the Nangchen area, as well as the related monasteries residing in foreign countries such as India, Nepal, and Bhutan, and the many family collections of books in the aforementioned areas, from Ngari in the upper part, Ü-Tsang in the middle, and Do-Kham in the lower part, a total of more than twenty regions with two hundred and sixty-odd large and small monasteries, and more than a thousand households, most of which we personally visited and investigated, and some of which we contacted experienced people to investigate, in order to collect the original texts. The main people who traveled to collect books were the monk Nyima Drakpa of Anggangdo and Karma Sonam Kunga, the late Orgyen Zopa, Trinley Kunchap, and the monk Rada Palden of Ongnyedo. Thus, during the long period of traveling to collect books, we relied on horses, motorcycles, cars, and other means of transportation in convenient places, while in remote mountainous areas and valleys, in monasteries and villages where transportation was difficult, we traveled on foot. For example, Nyima Drakpa walked for months to Nangchen, Zato, Karma's Geru and Lhato, Angyu and Doshu upper and lower parts, Riwoche and Ji upper and lower parts, Kyungpo Zhaggo Gön, and other places. Karma Sonam and Kunga also walked to places such as Mugsang. When we were collecting books, we initially hoped to find many rare books in the monasteries, but in reality, it was the opposite, and most of the rare books were found in the homes of ordinary villagers. In addition, Kha Sprul Rinpoche Chokyi Nyima also specially commissioned Lana Palden and others to collect and donate many manuscripts, which was a great kindness. In this way, after we collected a large number of books, we began to prepare to input them into the computer.

During the empowerment, the 7th Chaksam Tulku Trinley Kunkhyab Rinpoche provided many teachings that had already been entered into the computer. Based on this, the newly discovered parts were also entered into the computer and compared in detail with dozens of original texts. However, since the complete teachings had not been printed before, and because the content was extensive and the wording numerous, these teachings became quite popular among all the new and old schools of thought in U-Tsang and Kham. Due to repeated copying by various monasteries and both wise and foolish monks and mantra practitioners, many errors occurred, such as incorrect characters, omissions, disordered sequences, and unclear original texts. Moreover, the textual traditions proliferated into various forms, so most of the teachings have many different versions. For example, the autobiography, which has two volumes, has about four different original texts, and the 'Eight Chapters of the Kagyu' also has about four different versions. How was the comparison and editing of the texts done in the meantime? All the original texts collected by Katrul Chokyi Nyima from Ngomne Do Monastery and other places were used as a basis. All the different versions found from other places were carefully compared and studied. In terms of both words and meaning, the versions that had fewer omissions and errors and were more trustworthy were used as the basis, and the correct parts of other versions were used to supplement them, thereby finalizing the text. For example, in the autobiography, about four old versions from monasteries such as Goche Monastery and Gechak Monastery were compared. For the 'Karma Lingpa Peaceful and Wrathful Deities,' the Palpung printing, the old version from Angpo Craft and Culture Do Monastery, and the drafts found from various monasteries were compared. For 'Amitabha,' about five or six old versions, such as the Tsurphu printing and the Palpung printing, were compared. For the draft of 'Longevity Accomplishment Secret Gathering,' the chapters found from various places were compared. For the draft of 'Mind Practice Essence Gathering,' the latter of the two versions from Khargo Monastery and Gechak Monastery was used as the basis. For 'Könchok Chidu (Assembly of the Precious Ones),' the version from Ngomne Do Monastery was used as the basis, referring to many other versions. Regarding the section on Guru Drakpo (Wrathful Guru), the Gechak
