This collection of works can be said to be the very first series of volumes that brings together almost all of the writings of the great wise and accomplished Karma Chakme into a single compilation. It is said that in the past, his writings were collected and copied in various ways, but it seems that there was no instance of compiling all the books from various monasteries, and printing or copying the books after collating and revising them with relatively reliable versions. Because of this, his writings were not only scattered in monasteries and villages in the three regions of U-Tsang and Kham, but also, due to the proliferation of various different versions, the vajra words suffered great division and deterioration. If this continues, it is well known that it will be difficult for a complete and vivid collection of works with lineage, teachings, and versions to exist on this earth, which is a terrible danger. Therefore, in order to specifically rescue this situation, this time, mainly under the unparalleled care and responsibility of the Tenzin's eminence Lama Kalsang Rinchen, and with the help of all the monks of the monastery, including the monk Tashi Dawa of our own monastery, we, Dong Sang, Karma Sonam, and Nyendrak, took full responsibility for all the work of finding the original texts, comparing versions, proofreading, and revising, and after about nineteen years of hard work, we were finally able to actually print a continuous series of sixty volumes. This achievement has added a new jewel of well-spoken words to the world's treasury of knowledge.
