Regarding "days," if the power of the month is wood, and the child of wood is fire, then the power of the first day is fire. A careful study of surplus and deficit should be in accordance with the terrestrial chart. If only Black Calculation is performed, then the surplus and deficit must be based on the measurement of the month's date and surplus and deficit. In some places, the moon on the second day is very thin. If the moon appears from the second to the third day, it is called "incomplete day," which means that the first day or the full moon is considered deficient. The so-called "waxing and waning" means that when the moon is full on the fifteenth day, it is reasonable to calculate based on twelve, because the waxing moon has a surplus. The eighth day of the waxing moon is like an overturned bowl, and the surplus of the waxing moon is equal to the deficit of the waning moon, which should be carefully calculated. The six yang months have a full moon, and the six yin months do not have a full moon. In short, the statement that is consistent with the meaning of the terrestrial chart is experiential calculation. It is thought that it would be good for those who do not understand the terrestrial chart to do this. Eighth, regarding the hours: the Snake day of the summer solstice and the Pig day of the winter solstice are the times when day and night are equal at the spring and autumn equinoxes. Dawn is Rabbit, sunrise is Dragon, and calculate in order. Also, according to the terrestrial chart, thirteen breaths are one inhalation, six inhalations are one minute, sixty minutes are one hour, and sixty hours are considered one day. Although Black Calculation does not explain these in detail, it says that there are about sixty hours in a day. The winter solstice is when the sun begins to return, the days become longer and the nights become shorter; the summer solstice is when the sun returns, the days become shorter and the nights become longer, just a rough calculation.
