This is how the notes of an expert in calculation are: Generally, there are many key points of calculation, but most of them are methods for arranging the calculation base, methods for arranging the star calculation letters, and so on. If there is one accurate calculation base and star calculation letter, then most of those key points are okay even without them. The history of calculation and the history of internal and external occurrences, and the disputes of internal and external explanations are similar. The source of the year, the peg of the trigram, the story, the method of punishment for gambling, etc., are only interesting and not useful, so they are not written here. Then, regarding the method of calculation: When doing calculations for the deceased, lay out the calculation base and the black pebble base; when doing calculations for the living, lay out white pebbles. Have the calculation assistant lay out the pebbles. It is very important not to mistake mother, son, enemy, and friend in whatever calculation is being done, and to be clear in your mind. The key is: Wood one, fire two, earth three, iron and four, water is five, and is considered the number of the elements. Tracing downwards is the son, tracing upwards is the mother. Grandmother is the enemy, and grandson is the friend.
