The sutra says: Just as a drop of water falls into the great ocean, it will not disappear until the ocean dries up. Similarly, the virtue completely dedicated to Bodhi will not disappear until Bodhi is attained. Also, the "Manjushri Pure Land Sutra" says: All dharmas are according to conditions, abiding at the peak of intention. Whatever aspiration is planted, the result will be the same. Also, the "Vajra Dhvaja Sutra" says: All the virtues that beings have, and all that exists in the ten directions of the world, by truly accomplishing the root of virtue, for the benefit and happiness of all beings, completely dedicate these wise scholars. Also, the "Samantabhadra's Conduct and Vows Sutra" also says: The eldest son of all Buddhas, whose name is Samantabhadra. In order to practice the same conduct as that wise one, completely dedicate all these virtues. From "completely dedicate all these virtues" to "dedicate for the sake of Samantabhadra's conduct" it is said. If we summarize the infinite benefits of dedication mentioned in the "Twenty-five Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra", it is: If all sentient beings in the three thousand great thousand worlds obtain the merit of the ten virtues, the four dhyanas, the four immeasurables, and the five superknowledges, if this virtue is dedicated to Bodhi, then the merit is greater. If all sentient beings in the three thousand great thousand worlds attain the fruits of stream-enterer, once-returner, non-returner, and Arhat, and great offerings and reverence are made to them, if this virtue is dedicated to Bodhi, then the merit is greater. If all sentient beings in the three thousand great thousand worlds become Pratyekabuddhas, and great offerings and reverence are made to them, if this virtue is dedicated to Bodhi, then the merit is greater. If all sentient beings in the three thousand great thousand worlds become Bodhisattvas, and each of the sentient beings in the worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges in the ten directions makes perfect offerings and reverence to these Bodhisattvas, if this root of virtue is expanded by dedicating it to Bodhi, then the merit is greater. Such a dedication with great merit and benefit is the dedication without clinging to the three spheres. As the "Ornament of Clear Realization" says: The special dedication is its best action. That is the aspect of non-attachment,

Such is the characteristic of being without reversal! Thus it is said. In the Compendium it says: "That to which one dedicates is exhausted, and that by which one dedicates is exhausted, and if one knows that one never dedicates to the dharma of dharma, then dedicating in that way is dedicating to enlightenment." Thus it is said. When Ocean of Intelligence asked: "Even if a Bodhisattva accumulates much merit, if it is not dedicated to omniscience, one will not even obtain the name 'perfection,' but it will only be counted as a root of virtue. When it is dedicated to omniscience, at that time one obtains the name 'perfection.' Therefore, whatever virtue

Therefore, it is said, "This is the good realm of the Tathagatagarbha nature; if dedicated, it will produce fruit." Thus, the best dedicate within the practice of emptiness; the intermediate also dedicate within the practice of illusion and dream-like, unestablished reality. If you do not know this, you should also dedicate with a single-minded intention, just as the Bodhisattvas abiding on the great earth and the Buddhas of the three times have dedicated, so I also dedicate this merit. As the Sutra of the Three Aggregates says, "The dedication made by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past," and so on. It is also very important to seal the generation stage, completion stage, meditation recitation, and tsog offerings of secret mantras with dedication. As the Tantra of the Origin of Vows says, "Then, in front of the mandala itself, with palms joined at the heart, the benefactor should make aspirations and make a complete dedication." Also, as the Secret Union Bindu Tantra says, "Having made the vajra mudra, placing it in one's own heart, focusing on all sentient beings, one should make aspirations." Also, Orgyen Rinpoche said, "The accumulated merit and its fruit, dedication and so on, having fully understood that they are without inherent existence, is the unsurpassed supreme dedication." And, "To gods or lamas, etc., in front of the Three Jewels and supports, accumulating merit with intention and faith, one should make vast prayers; the qualities of that are beyond words." And, "At times such as the eighth and thirteenth, dedicate the roots of virtue in front of the Three Jewels." This is the meaning of what was said. Therefore, in the space in front, clearly visualize the refuge field mentioned earlier. To them, the merit of listening to the Dharma, the merit of receiving the vows of refuge, and all the roots of virtue of taking refuge now, dedicate all of this to all sentient beings, beginning with parents. By this virtue, may all sentient beings quickly attain the precious Bodhicitta of unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Think like this, and repeat three times the dedication verse spoken in the Vajra Verses: "Dedicate the merit to all old mothers, the six realms." Three times. Then, all the refuge fields visualized in the sky dissolve into light and dissolve into you all,
