第201页至第300页 第201页至第300页 无有小旁生，于四种生处所生者：乃是野兽、猛兽、蚂蚁、蜗牛、昆虫等，多足、无足、飞禽、爪禽等，龙族所作之旁生，细小粗大等，于大地之上不可思议，一者食一者，有此痛苦。猎人设网和陷阱，导致行走于错误道路，有些被陷阱夹住而死。第四旁生散乱之痛苦，乃是依附于人之旁生，此等乃是，役使驮运、耕作、挤奶等，剪毛、取肉、抽血、污秽等，酸奶、生肉、鬼怪、脊背磨破、驮子掉落，毛发不存、犄角磨损，即便被剥皮，也要忍受酷热，即便身体裂开，也要坚韧不拔，遭受驱赶、折磨、杀戮等无量痛苦，这些乃是众生旁生之痛苦。如是说。国王松赞干布之言：转生为旁生，极为愚昧，未闻佛法而生，如洲际之间无日月之光，不见自己之身形，自身之肉被自身所食，堕入悬崖，以及堕落之恐惧等，有诸多痛苦。彼等寿命长久，能活一个中劫。沉于水中之旁生，在外海之中，如酒糟之沉淀般存在，大者食小者，自身之肉被自身所食等，有不可度量之痛苦。地上之小旁生，多足、无足、双足，飞禽、爪禽，不可思议。散乱之旁生，四足者，猛兽和野兽之种类无数。彼等乃是一者未死就被一者所食等，痛苦不可思议。彼等之中痛苦最小者，马、牛、黄牛、绵羊等一切人畜之旁生，乃是略微布施而不守护戒律，故转生为旁生。彼等亦是寿命不定，寿命短促，无法脱离役使、宰杀、砍割之痛苦。因戒律破损而转生为旁生龙族，以及龙之旁生，痛苦乃是畏惧国王之惩罚。

Pages 201 to 300 Pages 201 to 300 There are countless minor animals, born in four types of births: wild animals, predators, ants, snails, insects, many-legged, legless, birds, clawed creatures, and various kinds of nagas, small and large. They are countless on the earth, and there is the suffering of one eating another. Hunters set up nets and traps, causing them to go astray. Some are caught in traps and die. The fourth suffering is the scattered suffering of animals. These animals rely on humans for labor, such as carrying loads, plowing, milking, shearing wool, taking meat, drawing blood, and enduring filth. They endure sour milk, raw meat, ghosts, chafed backs, fallen loads, loss of hair, worn-down horns. Even when being skinned, they endure the heat. Even when their bodies crack, they remain steadfast. They suffer immeasurable pain from being driven, tormented, and killed. These are the sufferings of sentient animals. So it is said. King Songtsen Gampo said: To be born as an animal is extremely ignorant, and one is born without hearing the Dharma. It is like being in a place between continents without the light of the sun and moon, not seeing one's own form, one's own flesh being eaten by oneself, falling into a cliff, and the fear of falling. There are many sufferings like these. Their lifespan is long, lasting for one intermediate kalpa. Animals dwelling in water, in the outer ocean, exist like the sediment of beer. The large eat the small, and one's own flesh is eaten by oneself. There are immeasurable sufferings like these. The small animals on the earth are countless: many-legged, legless, two-legged, birds, clawed creatures. Scattered animals, four-legged ones, and countless kinds of predators and wild animals. They suffer immeasurable pain, such as one being eaten by another before dying. Among them, the least suffering is that of animals such as horses, cattle, cows, sheep, etc., which are all animals of humans. They are born as animals because they gave some charity but did not keep their vows. Their lifespan is uncertain and short, and they cannot escape the suffering of being used, killed, and cut. Because of broken vows, they are born as nagas and animals of the naga race. Their suffering is the fear of the king's punishment.

以及，被冰雹的雨所怖畏，以及，被空中飞翔的（鸟类）所怖畏等等，有无量的痛苦。寿命长，也有能活过中间劫的。如是说。莲花生大师的开示：又是这些旁生种类，因无明而愚昧，不明白所说的话，听不见三宝的声音，即使是耕耘、剪毛、衰老，也驮载着无法承受的重物，臀部的肉被鞭打，骨头被鞭打，腰被打断，屁股摇摇晃晃，精疲力竭而倒下，想躺下休息也没有自由，被殴打。如是说。又有一种，即使没有一点疾病，也被捆绑起来，骑在上面，用刀刺入心脏，四肢摇摇晃晃，口中念念有词，眼睛翻白，恐惧、害怕、痛苦非常大，却无能为力，只能苟延残喘地死去。如是说。又是那些野兽，被很多人和狗追赶，在没有山也没有河谷的地方奔跑，皮肉分离，毛发脱落，恐惧害怕，即使拼命逃跑也会被杀死。又有一些，从年轻到衰老都在耕作，给予毛和奶，像对待珍贵的家人一样，用油滋润地养育，作为回报，年老时却被卖掉。即使产生了对家乡的意识而逃跑，也会被抓回来。或者说因为年老了吃不下东西，没有用处，即使是亲生母亲也会被杀死。之后，在水中栖息的旁生，在山间的池塘和外面的海洋中，大的吞食所有小的，所有小的聚集起来攻击大的。愚昧无知，日夜不分，不会说话，不明白道理。再次在无尽的痛苦中流浪。如是说。因此，转生为旁生的原因是愚痴占了大部分，积累了少量的恶业。在《正念经》中说：像旁生一样恶语相向，虚度三世的光阴，抛弃种族，对畜生发怒，像对待牲畜一样恶语相向，这十种行为会导致转生为旁生。如是说。据说旁生的种类有三十四亿种不同的。然后，在金刚句中说：地狱是寒热地狱。以及由大悲者亲自所说的注释中说：地狱是寒热的痛苦。如果详细解释所说的意义：在《近念经》中说：有情地狱被地狱之火焚烧。以及在《器世界论》中说：此下为空。

And, being afraid of the rain of hail, and, being afraid of the flying (birds) in the sky, etc., there are immeasurable sufferings. The lifespan is long, and there are also those who can live through the intermediate kalpa. Thus it is said. Guru Padmasambhava's teachings: Again, these animal species are ignorant due to unknowing, do not understand the spoken words, do not hear the sound of the Three Jewels, even if they are plowing, shearing wool, and aging, they are loaded with unbearable burdens, the flesh of the buttocks is whipped, the bones are whipped, the waist is broken, the buttocks sway, exhausted and fall down, wanting to lie down and rest but without freedom, being beaten. Thus it is said. Also, there is one kind that, even without a little illness, is completely tied up, ridden on top, stabbed in the heart with a knife, the four limbs swaying, the mouth muttering, the eyes rolling back, fear, fright, pain are very great, but there is nothing that can be done, only lingering on to die. Thus it is said. Also, those wild animals are chased by many people and dogs, running in places without mountains or valleys, flesh and skin separated, hair falling out, fear and fright, even if they desperately run away, they will be killed. Also, some plow from youth until old age, giving wool and milk, treating them like precious family members, nourishing them with oil, but in return, they are sold when they are old. Even if they develop an awareness of their homeland and run away, they will be caught back. Or it is said that because they are old and cannot eat, they are useless, even their own mothers will be killed. After that, the animals dwelling in the water, in the ponds in the mountains and the oceans outside, the big ones devour all the small ones, all the small ones gather together to attack the big ones. Ignorant and unknowing, not distinguishing day and night, not speaking, not understanding the meaning. Again, wandering in endless suffering. Thus it is said. Therefore, the cause of being born as an animal is that ignorance occupies most, and a small amount of non-virtue is accumulated. In the Sutra of Mindfulness, it is said: Like animals, speaking evil words, wasting the time of the three times, abandoning the race, being angry at animals, speaking evil words like treating livestock, these ten actions will lead to being born as an animal. Thus it is said. It is said that there are thirty-four billion different kinds of animals. Then, in the Vajra Verse, it is said: Hell is hot and cold hell. And in the commentary personally spoken by the Great Compassionate One, it is said: Hell is the suffering of hot and cold. If the meaning of what is said is explained in detail: In the Sutra of Near Mindfulness, it is said: Sentient beings in hell are burned by the fire of hell. And in the Treatise on the Vessel World, it is said: Below this is empty.
