It goes like the traces of birds flying in the sky, so it is said. Non-meditation means being separated from all that is meditated upon, the one who meditates, and the act of meditating. It is also divided into three: small, medium, and large. The great non-meditation is considered to be the state of the complete and perfect Buddha. Thus, the gradual explanation is that in the secret mantra tradition, it is not necessary to accumulate merit for three countless eons, but in one lifetime, the path to enlightenment for a fortunate individual is explained as gradual arising. The leap-over is that in previous lives, there was much accumulation of merit and good karma, as well as much sin, downfall, and bad karma. Therefore, after requesting the instructions of the secret mantra and practicing it, both good and bad karma erupt, and sometimes excellent realizations arise. Sometimes obstacles, wrong paths, and afflictions blaze greatly. If there is no reliance on a lama or no good Dharma friends, there is a great danger that one who initially becomes an excellent practitioner will later become an ordinary person. If one does not fall into obstacles, the realization will increase greatly and the fruit will be quickly obtained. The one-instant is that in previous lives, much accumulation of merit and purification of obscurations has occurred. Because there is a remainder of meditating on samadhi in many lifetimes, realization arises in one instant simply by giving instructions and introductions. However, it is not that one does not go through the lower paths. For example, it is like piercing many pieces of paper with an arrow at the same time. The meaning of these is in the first chapter of the All-Unifying: In short, it is the Buddha himself. In countless billions of eons, as much as any Buddha is attained, whatever supreme bliss of yours, in this life you will attain it. Or the Vajra Holder himself. And, from the accomplishment of that very nature, the glorious great bliss Vajrasattva, by other paths, must be realized in countless eons. Those who possess the means of the Vajrayana, in this very life, without difficulty, should accomplish it. And, in the Abhidhana Tantra, it is said: Surely revel in the Great Seal. When meditation becomes manifest, all liberated Buddhas will also become manifest in this life. So it is said. If one says that Buddhahood is attained in one lifetime, does it require someone like a Bodhisattva who has practiced greatly from before? The Vajra Mother says: If that yogi is diligent, in this very life, he will pass into nirvana, each

Only by becoming a Buddha can one achieve enlightenment; there is no other way. It is said that those who have diligently practiced in previous lives can attain liberation merely by hearing. Thereafter, some say six months, three years, three quarters, or twelve years are needed to attain the fruit of Buddhahood. As stated in the *Net of Illusion Sutra*: "In a single instant, one becomes fully enlightened." And as stated in the *Kalachakra Tantra*: "Through that pure samadhi, in three years, half a month, and three days, one will achieve the body of wisdom." And as stated in the *Achievement of Sun and Moon Sutra*: "Yogic masters, relying on the profound Mahamudra, practicing unwavering meditation, cultivating the bliss-emptiness samadhi of conducive causes, in three years, half a month, and three days, will attain supreme accomplishment." And so on, it is widely proclaimed. Most of the great Indian siddhas attained accomplishment through twelve years of practice. It is said that the state of a great siddha is the state of a Buddha. Furthermore, in the Hetu-vidya Vehicle, the eleventh bhumi, the All-Illuminating Bhumi, is the state of a Buddha. Although the classification of bhumis has not been mentioned before, in the Secret Mantra tradition, the twelfth bhumi is the Immaculate Lotus Eye, and the thirteenth bhumi is the Vajradhara Bhumi, which are considered the state of a Buddha. In the Great Perfection tradition, the fourteenth bhumi is the Assembly of Letters Mandala, the fifteenth bhumi is the Wisdom Lama Light Bhumi, and the sixteenth bhumi is the Non-Dual Bhumi. According to the view of the Great Perfection Mind Essence, Space Section, and Instruction Section, by simultaneously traversing the ten bhumis of the common vehicle, as well as the supreme peak of the ten bhumis, the All-Illuminating Bhumi, the holder of the name Vajradhara, the Bhumi of the Lotus One, the Assembly of Wheels, the Perfectly Arranged Bhumi, the Bhumi of Dheva Kosha, the Bhumi of the Great Liberation City, the Bhumi of Vajradhara, the Bhumi of the Willow Tree, the Supreme Perfection Bhumi, the Bhumi of the Complete Three Realms, the Bhumi of Action and Non-Action, that is, by traversing the twenty-two bhumis in an insurmountable manner, one attains enlightenment in one lifetime in the primordial state of Samantabhadra. At this time, the views of various learned and accomplished masters are that although the paths of Sutra and Tantra are different, from enlightenment to the fruit of Buddhahood, there is no superior or inferior, and the meaning is the same. Some believe that enlightenment through the Sutra tradition cannot comprehend the Buddha of the Tantra tradition, and it is still necessary to go through the various stages of the Tantra tradition. Some only recognize the Sutra tradition.
