Aging. Short life, many diseases, many internal and external harms. Instead of practicing this with one-pointedness, being distracted for the sake of this life's affairs, My body is covered as if by a dense fog. Seeing the death of elders, the death of middle-aged, the death of youth, Yet there is no certainty when I will die, Still accumulating many affairs, Who has entered my heart, is it a demon? If I get sick today, and my breath leaves tomorrow night, What kind of fearless confidence do I have? Going to an unfamiliar country, going empty-handed without acquaintances. At that time, will there be a guide, provisions, and flour? Is there a definite goal of where to go? In the Yama's court of reckoning karma, Think about whether you have done actions without shame? Since the ripening of karma cannot be reversed by anyone, If it is said that even a small downfall will lead to the lower realms, Then what need is there to mention other sins? Seeing or hearing the written sufferings of the lower realms, Also feeling disgusted and fearful, If you really go there, how will you be able to endure it? Thinking about this, if not fearing karmic consequences, Isn't my mind too crazy? From countless eons ago until now, having obtained countless bodies, There is not a single sentient being who has not been one's own mother, This number, even if calculated, cannot be exhausted, it is boundless, Yet holding a tormenting mind towards enemies, Hoping and loathing some shameless people. Relatives, friends, like guests in a market, Quickly separating, never to be seen again, Since the nature of samsara cannot be reversed by anyone, The sadness of friends, the mourning of death, And the fighting in life, the quarrels between you and me, Which demon has disturbed my mind? Now, just as a lamp is brighter at the time of death, The teachings of Shakyamuni are also in the degenerate age. Virtuous spiritual friends are like bright stars and moons, The Sangha is like a garden full of blooming flowers. All are followers of the Bhagavan Shakyamuni, Not generating pure appearances and devotion to all, But hiding one's own faults like a pile of poison in the heart, Pointing fingers at others' faults like a horse's tail. Empty talk, chasing after fame and profit, accumulating bad karma. Has a heretic entered my heart? If one wants to measure the boundaries of knowledge and small merits, It is like measuring the sky with one's hands. Many panditas of the past have not been able to do it, Short life, foolish wisdom, and lazy people, People like me want to measure the boundaries of merit, Like a butterfly.

Like searching for the edge of the sky, I, an arrogant person, am truly strange, If one cannot thoroughly understand the vast boundaries, Then everything needs to have its essence understood. Even if wisdom and knowledge are abundant like stars, They are of no benefit to oneself or others, and virtuous deeds diminish. Therefore, if one practices the essential instructions, At least one can be sure not to regret it at the time of death. The supreme scholar of the New Translation School, Though known as a translator, is actually a Paṇḍita. The great translator Rinchen Zangpo, in his four-story residence, Constructed the maṇḍalas of the four classes of tantras separately. He practiced them separately in four sessions each day. At that time, the crown jewel of five hundred scholars, Jowo Je (Atiśa), Was displeased and said, "Translator, you are decaying." He condensed everything into one and gave instructions. Through practice, he attained the rainbow body and went to the realm of the ḍākinīs. The all-seeing Orgyen Rinpoche said: "Accomplishing one Buddha accomplishes everything." The Lord of Sages, in the boundless world, Taught countless different sūtras, Though the words are different, the meaning is the same, Understanding one word means understanding everything. The best of practitioners, Khara Gomchung, said: "Life has no leisure, words have no end, Therefore, practice the sublime instructions." Therefore, all the sūtras and tantras, the teachings and treasures, As well as treatises, instructions, oral transmissions, and realized teachings, I want to condense everything into one and practice. This also includes the four: view, meditation, conduct, and result. The view is unified in the primordial purity of Samantabhadra's realm, The five perfections of meditation are unified as the best of meditation. Conduct, the three vows, are unified as The tradition of the Kagyu school. The supreme and common fruits are matured here in one. First, if one does not understand the nature of the view, Even if one strives in Dharma, one cannot transcend saṃsāra. Either through study and reflection, looking at the scriptures, Or a profound understanding arises from the Guru's words. All dharmas are inherently empty, the dharmadhātu, Free from existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation, bias and extremes. Like the center of a completely pure sky, If such certainty arises, That view that has fallen into the object of knowledge, Cannot cut the root of saṃsāra. That kind of understanding is like a patch, it needs to be stopped. It also cannot subdue afflictions and conceptual thoughts. The container and its contents dissolve into themselves, and also dissolve into HŪṂ. HŪṂ also rises and dissolves, disappearing into emptiness. Like the sky, meditate on emptiness, and
