It is said in the [...] Sutra: If Samadhi is not accomplished, then no matter how much virtuous karma is accumulated, it will be meaningless, because evil thoughts and evil dharmas arising from the mind will arise. It is said in the Vajra Peak Tantra: If one abides in the meaning of the primordial state, there is no need for vows, no need to practice mantras, and no need to hold the vajra bell. In this way, one can achieve the fruit of separation from the ten. It is said in the Great Crown Sutra: It is more meritorious to meditate on the meaning of the Dharma nature for one day than to accumulate learning for many kalpas. Why is this so? Because it keeps one far away from the path of birth and death. It is said in the Upper Commentary of Chakrasamvara: By meditating on the true Great Seal, one attains the omniscience of a great yogi, achieves the unchanging nature of bliss, and becomes a Buddha in this very life. It is said in the Padma Wangchen Tantra: What is called accomplishment, accomplishment, is not something that exists elsewhere. Reality refers to the mind of enlightenment, and accomplishment refers to the manifestation of realization. Accomplishment refers to this. Telopa said: For example, even if darkness has accumulated for thousands of kalpas, a single lamp can dispel all the darkness. Similarly, in an instant of the clear light of one's own mind, one can dispel the ignorance and obscurations accumulated over kalpas. It is said in the Samadhiraja Sutra: This peaceful Samadhi, whatever one holds onto, one can easily obtain beautiful forms and characteristics, as well as the eighteen qualities of the guiding Buddha, power, and fearlessness. It is said in the Sambhatra: In short, it is the Buddha. For countless kalpas, whatever Buddhahood is attained, you can attain happiness through this excellent method, and you can attain it in this life. Or become a Vajradhara, or become a Chakravartin, and through this, you can obtain the eight great accomplishments, as well as what you desire in your heart. It is said in the Wisdom Drop: Or, immediately after abandoning this body, one can achieve even without diligence. Therefore, practicing in this way has immeasurable benefits. The best can attain Buddhahood in one lifetime, or when the outer breath ceases, death is the Dharmakaya Buddha. The intermediate one, when the body and mind separate, remembers the meaning of the generation stage and completion stage union that is currently being practiced, and can attain the Sambhogakaya deity in the bardo.

as well as becoming enlightened without distinction from the Buddhas. Due to the differences in the faculties of beings, there are twenty-one ways to attain the fruit of Buddhahood, among which the very last is: being reborn in the pure realm of the Nirmāṇakāya, which means being born in the Buddha-field where one has made aspirations. In this regard, Ma gcig lab sgron said: "Except for Sukhāvatī (bde ba can), one cannot be born in all the excellent Buddha-fields without attaining the eighth bhūmi. In the intermediate Buddha-fields, one must abandon subtle afflictive obscurations and attain at least the path of cultivation to be reborn; otherwise, one cannot be reborn. In the five pure abodes (gtsang ma'i gnas lnga) of the form realm, such as Akanishtha ('og min), and in places like the Copper-Colored Mountain (lcang lo can), one must sever the root of self-grasping, realize the truth of dharmatā, and attain the path of seeing to be reborn. Otherwise, one cannot be reborn. However, even if one has not attained the path of seeing, if one's vows and commitments are without even the slightest flaw, and one only strives in virtue and aspiration, it is possible to be reborn in some smaller Buddha-fields such as Tushita (dga' ldan), but it is very difficult. Therefore, it is impossible for an afflicted being to have the hope of being born in a Buddha-field. However, due to the power of the aspirations of the protector Amitābha (mgon po 'od dpag med), the protector himself has promised that one can be born in that field. Therefore, one must strive in every way to aspire to be born in Sukhāvatī. In this regard, one must abandon doubt and hesitation, and with unwavering faith and swift diligence, remember the splendor and benefits of Sukhāvatī, and then make aspirations to be born there. Sukhāvatī is more excellent than other Buddha-fields, because ordinary people and beings with afflictions can also be born there, so it is more excellent. Once born there, all wishes are fulfilled immediately, and one is not tainted by even subtle afflictions. One can freely go to other Buddha-fields, so it is more excellent. It is also faster to become enlightened than in other Buddha-fields, and it has inconceivable benefits. Therefore, there is no Buddha-field closer than Sukhāvatī, so striving to aspire to be born in Sukhāvatī is very important. So it is said. Thus, the *Sukhāvatīvyūha Sūtra*, the chapter of the *Ratnakūṭa Sūtra*, the *Amitāyus Sūtra*, the *White Lotus Sūtra*, the *Drum Sound Dhāraṇī*, and the teachings of Orgyen Rinpoche (o rgyan rin po che) all agree that committing the five heinous crimes and
