In a past life, the son of Mo'u offered food to his mother, thereby liberating her from the suffering realms, just like that, these loving and caring relatives, offer delicious and sweet varieties of food, dedicating it as a share of food for the deceased you. May you partake of the food of uncontaminated samādhi. In a past life, Prince Good Vision passed away, his sister, the goddess named Blissful, with clear barley wine, nectar-like sweetness, dedicated it, thereby pacifying heat and cold sufferings, just like that, relatives with affection in their hearts, with various drinks of tea, alcohol, milk, and yogurt, dedicate it as a share of drink for the deceased you. May the thirst suffering of the deceased be pacified, and may you meet with the moisture of supreme enlightenment. In a past life, the Brahmin's daughter, the Holy Mother, wandered in the realm of pretas due to miserliness, the supreme son Avalokiteśvara, with compassion, bestowed blessed clothing, just like that, relatives and friends with affection in their hearts, as coolness from heat, shelter from cold, hats, clothes, felt, wool, silk, and so on, dedicate it as a share of clothing for the deceased you.
