被称为六道。没有到达六道之处，存在中阴界的众生，以及除此之外的现喜等等，有无数清净的刹土。以善恶业为因，以具愿者作连接，各自的苦乐各不相同，各种各样的景象非常奇妙。以罪恶业为因，以嗔恨者作连接，讲述了十八层寒热地狱。在印度金刚座下，二十千由旬处，有无间地狱，其上有八热地狱，如同房屋的屋檐一般。最上面的热地狱是复苏地狱，那些众生互相视为仇敌，因业力所致，手中所持之物都变成武器。互相残杀，全部死亡。之后一阵风吹来，发出“复苏吧”的声音，全部恢复如初。又如先前一样互相残杀。每天死亡千次。如今世上一个人，经常遭受三百长矛刺击般的痛苦。寿命为五百岁，相当于人间百亿零三万二千年。下面的地狱依次痛苦和寿命增加二十倍。身体被划线，用斧头和锯子切割，称为黑线地狱。铁烧山互相撞击，铁烧的嘴和铁板之间，挤压磨碎。森林边缘全部被火焰包围，燃烧哭泣，被火焰包裹，血肉骨骼沸腾，发出巨大的哭喊声。铁烧的卡塔姆从肛门和脚底刺入，从头顶和肩膀穿出，口中灌入沸腾的胆汁，内脏烧焦流出，在铁锅中像煮粥一样翻滚。这些被称为热地狱。进入铁室之中，下面充满沸腾的胆汁，外面大火燃烧。被称为极热地狱。在铁锅中煮沸胆汁，其中不断熬煮，这是无间大地狱。这些地狱的每一处四方，蔓延着熊熊燃烧的火海。草都长成刀刃的平原，行走时切割脚并刺穿。刀叶森林

It is called the six realms. Without reaching the six realms, there are sentient beings in the intermediate state of existence (bardo), and other pure lands such as Abhirati, there are countless pure lands. Taking virtuous and non-virtuous actions as the cause, and connecting with those who have aspirations, their respective sufferings and joys are different, and all kinds of scenes are very wonderful. Taking sinful actions as the cause, and connecting with those who are hateful, the eighteen hot and cold hells are described. Below the Vajra Throne in India, at a distance of twenty thousand yojanas, there is the Avici Hell, and above it are the eight hot hells, like the eaves of a house. The uppermost hot hell is the Reviving Hell, where those sentient beings regard each other as enemies, and due to their karma, whatever they hold in their hands turns into weapons. They kill each other, and all die. Then a wind blows, and a sound says, "Revive!" and all are restored to their original state. Again, they kill each other as before. They die a thousand times a day. Nowadays, a single person in the world constantly suffers as much pain as being stabbed by three hundred spears. The lifespan is five hundred years, equivalent to one hundred billion and thirty-two thousand human years. The hells below gradually increase in suffering and lifespan by a factor of twenty. Lines are drawn on the body, and it is cut with axes and saws, called the Black Line Hell. Iron-burning mountains collide with each other, and the iron-burning mouths and iron plates crush and grind. The edges of the forest are all surrounded by flames, burning and crying, enveloped in flames, flesh and bones boiling, making great cries. Iron-burning katams are inserted from the anus and the soles of the feet, piercing through the crown of the head and the shoulders, and boiling bile is poured into the mouth, the internal organs are burned and flow out, and they are stirred in an iron pot like porridge. These are called the hot hells. They enter an iron chamber, the bottom of which is filled with boiling bile, and the outside is burned by a great fire. It is called the extremely hot hell. Boiling bile is cooked in an iron pot, and they are constantly boiled in it, this is the great Avici Hell. On each of the four sides of these hells, a great plain of burning embers spreads. 树林中，风吹动，剑雨降临。头和手脚被砍断又复生。铁树的树叶，极其锋利，如兵器般竖立。在那顶端，看到自己喜爱的，故乡的女子坐在那里。向上攀登，身体被割裂。到达顶端，那女子变成铁的鸟喙，取出脑髓。又看到她坐在树根处。向下落，下身全被割裂。到达根部，变成凶猛的恶狗。拉出肠子吃掉。就这样一次又一次地做。那些是短暂的近处，在印度（古印度）城市舍卫城下，五百由旬的地方，据说有饿鬼的住所。地面是沙砾，没有水，身体大，肚子却像针孔一样。手脚细小，嘴巴也很小。即使食物饮料在心中想着，也一点点都尝不到，这是外在的障碍者。水看到的是脓血和污水。有些人有饮食受用，但是被愤怒可怕的人守护着，没有权力去吃，这叫做内在的障碍者。即使找到一点点，嘴里也装不下。屁眼细小无法排泄，肚子大却无法满足。稍微进入腹中的东西，燃烧成火焰，带来痛苦。像这样无量的痛苦，人的一月是饿鬼的一日，寿命也计算为五百岁。地狱饿鬼散布的种类，大河边和空旷的北方等，即使在人间也有，但是我们凡人是看不到的。鬼的种类大部分也是，在空中游荡的饿鬼，因为饥渴而吞噬生命气息，之后又投生到无间地狱。洲际之间的黑暗海洋中，有各种各样的水生动物，因为饥渴愚痴，自己的身体自己吃，虽然感到热，但是因为吃了，所以不知道热。大的吞噬小的，小的刺穿大的。龙族被沙砾雨淋湿。龙族黑白混杂争斗。被大鹏鸟伤害，被疾病缠绕。享用很多，痛苦也很多。散布在人间的动物，看就能知道。寿命最长的是住一个劫，最短的是每天都死亡。如此恶趣的痛苦

In the grove, the wind blows, and a rain of swords falls. Heads and limbs are severed and then regrow. The leaves of the iron trees are extremely sharp, standing like weapons. At the top of the tree, one sees the woman from their homeland whom they love, sitting there. Climbing up, the body is torn apart. Reaching the top, that woman transforms into an iron-beaked bird, extracting the brain. Again, one sees her sitting at the base of the tree. Descending, the lower body is completely torn apart. Reaching the base, one transforms into a fierce wild dog. Pulling out the intestines and eating them. This happens again and again. These are the short-lived beings nearby, below the Indian city of Shravasti (古印度), five hundred yojanas away, it is said that the abode of pretas exists. The ground is gravelly, without water, the body is large, but the stomach is like a needle's eye. The limbs are thin, and the mouth is small. Even if food and drink are thought of in the mind, one cannot taste even a little bit, these are those with external obscurations. Water is seen as pus, blood, and filthy water. Some have food, drink, and enjoyment, but they are guarded by wrathful and terrifying beings, without the power to eat, these are called those with internal obscurations. Even if one finds a little, it cannot fit in the mouth. The anus is too small to excrete, and the stomach is too large to be filled. The little that enters the belly burns like fire, causing suffering. Such immeasurable suffering, one month of humans is one day of pretas, and their lifespan is also calculated as five hundred years. The scattered types of hell-beings and pretas, by the banks of great rivers and in the empty north, etc., even exist in the human realm, but we ordinary people cannot see them. Most of the types of ghosts are also pretas wandering in the sky, devouring the life-breath due to hunger and thirst, and then being reborn in the Avici hell. In the dark ocean between continents, there are various aquatic animals, due to hunger, thirst, ignorance, and delusion, they eat their own bodies. Although they feel hot, they do not know it because they are eating. The large ones swallow the small ones, and the small ones pierce and overturn the large ones. The nagas are drenched by showers of gravel. The black and white naga races mix and fight. They are harmed by garudas and afflicted by disease. Although they have great enjoyment, they also have much suffering. The scattered animals in the human realm can be known by looking. The longest lifespan is to live for a kalpa, and the shortest is to die every day. Thus is the suffering of the lower realms.
