Desire for earth. As long as samsara exists, I say until I become a Buddha. Other Bodhisattvas, after attaining Buddhahood themselves, With effortless and spontaneous actions, I pray for the benefit of beings. This is like a king, without this it is impossible, Without this, there is no fruit of Buddhahood. For example, like a human king, after perfecting himself, wants to benefit his subjects. The generation of Bodhicitta is also the same. A diligent Bodhisattva, abandoning his own happiness, For the sake of sentient beings with great compassion, benefiting one sentient being, Even if he is destined to be born in hell, He is not afraid and does not regret it, If he sees a hungry sentient being, he cuts his own flesh and gives it to him. Even if he is not without illness, he endures all of that. He does not care about body and life, he does not want his own happiness, He wants to benefit other sentient beings. After accepting hardships, whenever he attains Buddhahood, It is complete with happiness. He does not attain Buddhahood in a pure land, After attaining Buddhahood in an impure, unkind, and evil world, For the sentient beings who have not accumulated merit, He turns the wheel of Dharma for the sake of benefiting them. Those because it is an impure realm, Although being scolded and argued by demons, famines, and heretical views, Many people kill them and subdue them with compassion. For example, like Shakyamuni Buddha, Such Buddhas are rare. I prostrate and take refuge in him. A lazy Bodhisattva cannot practice so many hardships, In a state of happiness, Attaining Buddhahood in a pure land, For sentient beings with merit, Turning the wheel of Dharma, He himself abides in the place of Buddhahood, With hundreds of millions of emanations, Doing the work of benefiting sentient beings, Like Amitabha and Maitreya. Without this Bodhicitta, it is impossible, The ritual of receiving Bodhicitta is also, The tradition of vast conduct is, There is a vast ritual, Except for those who have discipline and qualities, others receive birth. The Bodhicitta of profound view tradition is, To whom does the abbreviated ritual arise? It also appears before all subsequent permissions, Therefore, many people obtain Bodhicitta, Study this.

What should be protected is not abandoning sentient beings, remembering the benefits of generating Bodhicitta, accumulating the two accumulations, and repeatedly practicing Bodhicitta. The four black and white dharmas to be adopted and abandoned have been taught. The five root downfalls and the hundred and eight branch downfalls, etc., are vast and limitless to be protected. Because it is difficult for those of lower faculties to understand, one can accomplish the essential meaning by protecting one thing alone, as stated in the Sutra of Advice to the King. One should cultivate rejoicing in the virtues of others. The intention to attain Buddhahood should be constantly remembered in the mind. All roots of virtue should be dedicated for the sake of all beings attaining Buddhahood. By this, the root is perfected. What is to be cultivated is the object of giving and receiving, continuously and without interruption, striving in each session. Immediately after passing away from here, one will go to the Pure Land of Sukhavati. The duration of this Fortunate Aeon is only one day in Sukhavati. Thus, calculating years and months, the number of years is hundreds of millions of kotis, an immeasurable number of kotis. Having been born there, there is no death, no sound of suffering in the lower realms, no suffering of old age and sickness. There is no need to laboriously seek enjoyment; whatever enjoyments are desired in the mind will naturally arise like clouds. One will worship Amitabha and Avalokiteshvara, and constantly listen to the sacred Dharma. With the power of miraculous abilities, one will travel to other pure realms in an instant, worship the Buddhas and listen to the Dharma, and then quickly return to one's own abode, abiding in Sukhavati. At the end of countless, inconceivable great aeons, Amitabha Buddha will pass into Nirvana. Between the two, countless aeons like the sands of the Ganges, the teachings of Amitabha will remain. Avalokiteshvara will act as regent. Thereafter, when the Dharma declines in the evening, Avalokiteshvara will attain Buddhahood at dawn. The Buddha will be called 'Light Rays All Supreme,' and his name will be 'King of Glorious Accumulation.' His lifespan will be a thousand kotis, a hundred thousand kotis, a million ninety-six. After his passing, his teachings will remain for six kotis of thousands, and three kotis, at which time Mahasthamaprapta will act as regent. When his Dharma declines in the evening, Mahasthamaprapta will attain Buddhahood at dawn. The Tathagata will be called 'Extremely Stable,' and his name will be 'King of Qualities, Jewels Accumulated.' His lifespan and teachings will also be like Avalokiteshvara's.
