Yes. Please keep the merit in mind like that. Homage to the Guru Dharmeshvara. The Shākya monk Jampa says: Do not complain, saying, "You have not given it to us." All the sutras and tantras spoken by the Victorious Ones are instructions for all sentient beings. If you wish to see those instructions, please make diligent efforts to understand the words. If you want immediate instructions, because it is difficult to obtain a human body again and again, in order to make obtaining a human body meaningful, protect the vows and commitments purely. This is the first instruction. Because no one can be sure when they will die, constantly recite whatever rituals, practices, and the six-syllable mantra you know. This is the second instruction. Even a dog's tooth can be an example of a relic. Generate faith and respect for the lama, and the great mudra will arise spontaneously. This is the third instruction. Do not break or degenerate your commitments. Vajra brothers and sisters of the same lama will gather together in the Buddha-field. Purify your perception towards your Dharma friends. This is the fourth instruction. Tasks such as fetching water and lighting fires are offerings to the lama and the sangha in general, so they purify sins. If you think about the hardships of labor, the benefits are the same as circumambulation. Consider the place where the monks draw water, where the donkey's footprints are left. If you do not protect your own mind, no matter how good the lama, how good the place, or how good the Dharma friends, there is no way to help you meditate. Therefore, do not forget to protect your own mind. This is the fifth instruction. Saying "protect your own mind" does not mean protecting something that can be seen or known. Rest in the state of the unseen. It does not mean abandoning, but rather constantly remembering and setting up a stake of alertness. This is the sixth instruction. Protecting the discipline of the body is one, reciting and praying with the speech is two, and seeing the nature of the mind is three. There is no Dharma more profound than this, even if you search in three thousand worlds. It is not spoken of in all the sutras and tantras. Therefore, imprint all of this in your heart. This is the seventh instruction. Protect the four roots like your life. Abstain from alcohol except for tsok offerings, and strive to recite as much as you can. Constantly pray and protect the nature of your mind. If you can persevere like that until you die, Now is the time of the five degenerations. There is slander against practitioners, and practitioners are just beginning to emerge. In the past, during the Fortunate Aeon, there were wise and accomplished ones, signs of accomplishment.

May it be! Nowadays, it is said that such benefits and wonderful great abilities can be achieved. Therefore, strive so much! This is the eighth instruction. Just as a horse is turned with reins, all Dharma should have a strong aspiration as the end. Obtain aspiration in Sukhavati, which is a land of eternal bliss. This is the ninth instruction. When laziness arises in between, think about when you will die, when you will die. Think about where you will go when you die. If you don't seize the opportunity this time, think about not obtaining a human body. This is the instruction for dispelling obstacles, which is the tenth instruction. Do not forget these ten in your mind. Sanskrit Romanization: Namo Mahāmudrāye, Literal Chinese Meaning: Homage to the Great Mudra). Geshe Tukje, please listen to me. This emptiness Mahamudra is not realized by extracting it from books. All the accomplished ones of the past Kagyu lineage realized it by relying on the Lama. It is realized by having devotion and respect. It is realized by praying. Son, if you want to generate experience and realization, meditate on the Lama as Vajradhara. Offer prayers from the depths of your heart. Meditate on all the hardships and sufferings of attachment to external objects as the joy of purifying obscurations. Every morning and evening, in front of a thousand Buddha images, make a commitment to prostrate about a hundred times. During the slightly free time in the morning and evening, arrange the body in the seven-point posture of Vairochana. Look at the mind with the mind, intently. While fetching water, lighting a fire, or working, do not be distracted, set up a sentinel of mindfulness. Occasionally eat something and look at your own mind. Eating and drinking is a pure tsokhor. Occasionally walk and look at the face of the mind. It is an unelaborated ultimate circumambulation. Occasionally lie down and look at the face of the mind. It is the instruction for meditating on clear light. Occasionally look nakedly and bare. It is the instruction for seeing naked awareness. Occasionally leave it uncorrected, naturally. It is the instruction for ordinary nakedness. Occasionally, even if it moves, leave it as it is. It is the Mahamudra of appearance and existence. Occasionally, whatever arises, look at its essence. It is the instruction for chasing after movement. Nowadays, for the first practitioner, rely on a Lama with lineage instructions. Compared to the Buddha's words, sutras, tantras, and song collections, the Lama's teachings are the happiest time. When seeing the nature free from elaboration, the profound Dharma of sutras, tantras, and song collections, no matter what you look at, if you understand the meaning, then rely on the Lama who is the Sugata's teachings. It is the time to look at all the books. As soon as the realization of one taste arises, all appearances appear as books, thinking.
