Even without doing "Na" etc., the Dharma teaching will not be exhausted. When realizing the state of no meditation, one's own mind appears as the Lama. The meaning of all Sutras and Tantras appears in one's own mind. It seems that it is said that it appears. Now I don't understand the meaning of the books, so for the four preliminary practices, Three times a day, single-mindedly meditate and do it without interruption, For the four sessions and other prayers, with strong faith, respect and sorrow, Pray from the bottom of your heart, and realization will arise spontaneously. Keep the mind of compassion in this way. Thus it is said. Namo Guru Manjushri Ghosaya. Sanskrit Roman transliteration: namo guru mañjughoṣāya, Chinese literal meaning: Homage to the Guru Manjushri) A novice monk named Jinpa said that this is the advice during leisure time. If you all believe it, the advice is like a river. It is the basis of all the sacred Dharma, guarding the vows like the foundation of a castle. The root of Dharma is the three: hearing, thinking, and meditating. Hearing means requesting empowerment, transmission, and guidance, And taking notes, reviewing lessons, and doing whatever is appropriate. Among them, the way of thinking is very important. Don't think that taking notes and reviewing are burdens, Don't think that if you have perfect merits, you will get offerings, Don't have jealousy and competition with fellow practitioners, Don't think about whether you can learn unsociable ways of dealing with things, Like turning sandalwood into charcoal and selling it, Even if you study, it will not become Dharma. Studying, taking notes, reviewing, and all the hard work, Are all for purifying one's two obscurations, Studying in order to attain unsurpassed enlightenment, If you think about doing these studies and hard work, Keep this unsurpassed Dharma in mind. View the Lama as the real Buddha, View fellow practitioners as mandala deities, View empowerment, transmission, and Dharma as nectar. You don't know when you will die, so whip yourself with the iron hook of diligence. If you do this, you will be happy in this life and the next. It is meaningful to obtain a human body now. Parents gave birth to children, don't knead them like tsampa. The merit of serving the Lama comes from this. Therefore, keep the vows purely, Don't be lazy in studying and reviewing lessons. Sometimes contemplate the nature of your own mind, Sometimes practice the deity generation stage that you have mastered, Also accumulate the number of recitations. This is the advice to Jinpa. Namo Lokeshvaraya. Sanskrit Roman transliteration: namo lokeśvarāya, Chinese literal meaning: Homage to the Lord of the World) The Great Compassionate One secretly gathers, I prostrate to the guide of beings.

Through the power of good karma, now you have obtained the precious human body with leisure. Having obtained it, there is no certainty of when death will come. At the time of death, nothing is beneficial except the Dharma. Therefore, my child, entrust your heart to the Dharma. Where you will be born in the next life depends entirely on the karma of your past deeds. Engaging in virtuous deeds and abandoning evil should be put into action. Wherever you are born in the six realms, there is suffering. Pray to be born in the Sukhavati Pure Land. The method to lead those connected to that Pure Land there is the practice of the Mani Vase. Generate faith, respect, and certainty in this. If you can accomplish this, accumulating merit and purifying obscurations will be sufficient. Provide food and drink on time without deceit. Do not complain about hardship and suffering. Strive diligently to accomplish this practice. Meditate on the joy of purifying obscurations. Visualize Guru Orgyen (Padmasambhava) on the crown of your head. Pray to Vajra Guru. Dissolve into light and merge into yourself. Visualize your own body as the Great Compassionate One. Constantly utter the six-syllable mantra. Let your own mind look at your own mind. Look at what forms and objects are there. Rest in the state of not seeing. Even if there is nothing to see, there is something to experience in the mind. In a state of not thinking about anything, staying in that state is called abiding. Whatever arises and whatever is remembered, that is called moving. Abiding and moving are also awareness, and awareness is also nominally established. Thus, in the three—abiding, moving, and awareness—constantly abiding in your own view is called practice. In the absence of seeing objects, it is called emptiness. If you understand this well, it is called Prajnaparamita. Look at it repeatedly for a short time, this is called practice. If you cannot find what to look at and it is not clear, then offer about a hundred prostrations and look. Straighten your body in the morning and evening and look. Whether it is clear or unclear, do not give up, constantly looking is important. Without regarding movement as a fault, relaxing and looking is the key instruction. When your own mind looks at your own mind, it is called view. Constantly cultivating that view is called meditation. Doing good and abandoning evil is called conduct. In the next life, in the Sukhavati Pure Land, planting the aspiration to be born there, there is no result greater than that. For now, without abandoning the nature of the mind, accumulate the number of recitations morning and evening, and complete the sessions as soon as possible.
