Death is very near. Praising those who deserve praise, even if it is Dharma, I have no merit whatsoever. Seeing someone like me as an emanation, is also a sign of their pure perception increasing. Praising someone without merit, is like praising copper as gold. After I die, no matter what praise or prayers are made, it will not benefit me in the slightest. Therefore, there is no reason to be happy with praise. Even if someone with merit is disparaged, that person will not become bad because of it. Even if you say this gold is copper, wise people will still give it a high price. After I die, even if I am disparaged, I will not be harmed. Therefore, praise and disparagement are the same to me. In the ultimate sense, looking at the nature of the sound of praise and disparagement, both are without difference, their essence is emptiness. Appearance is emptiness, which is the Great Seal. Therefore, treat them equally, free from joy and sorrow. Those who call themselves practitioners, who teach and guide, whether it is me or someone like me, because they are praised, they become very happy, giving gifts or pouring out their heart, hearing scolding and insults, they generate anger, fighting and arguing or speaking ill, performing evil curses and other witchcraft, this is the very sign of not having liberated one's own mind. Enlightenment has not arisen as it is, arguing and being stubborn are its signs. Therefore, the measure of realization and, the profound advice for awakening is: Praising oneself and pleasant words, unpleasant scolding and insults, taking what is gained as the path, this advice, considering it to be the essence of profound Dharma. Especially those who scold and insult, are the ones who proclaim the awakening of appearance as emptiness, the Great Seal, they are spiritual friends. Now I have purified pure appearances. At the table by the neck river, these are the words I spoke to myself. ༈ །།Namo Mahamudra Ye. From the empty sky where nothing has been accomplished, from where did the clouds suddenly appear? They pour down various kinds of rain and blizzards. From the empty sky where nothing has been accomplished, from where did the various phenomena of samsara and nirvana arise? Various appearances, happiness and suffering, arise without certainty. From the empty nature of mind where nothing has been accomplished, from where did the various thoughts arise? They accumulate various kinds of virtuous and non-virtuous actions. From the empty thoughts where nothing has been accomplished, from where did the various experiences and appearances arise? They speak various kinds of experiences, sounds, and chatter. In the empty sky
