Three and thirty. By the power of the great compassionate deity. Son, attendant Ma-pham's consciousness. If you are present before us mortals. May you hear these words clearly. Son Ma-pham entered the Dharma gate from a young age. Received empowerments, precepts, and transmissions like an ocean. Now, without breaking the vows and commitments. You have not died, but have attained accomplishment. It is difficult to master the Dharma in this degenerate age. Son, there is no reason to grieve over your death. From the Lord, the perfectly enlightened Buddha onwards. Down to the smallest insects. There is no one who does not die. You are not alone, it happens to everyone. You, Ma-pham, abandon the suffering of death. Previously received many empowerments and instructions on the bardo. Now, do not forget them, keep them in mind. You, Ma-pham, have been dead for three days. It is now the afternoon of the tenth day. There is doubt whether you are really dead. Son, Ma-pham is definitely dead. Son of noble lineage, do not be afraid, do not panic. Son, your yidam is Avalokiteśvara. Meditate on the generation stage of the deity Gyalwa Gyatso. Without a body of flesh and blood. Your mind-body is the body of great compassion. Transformed into the deity Gyalwa Gyatso himself. That is the Mahamudra of the deity's form. Meditator, look closely at your own mind. The mind is empty, without form or substance. That is the Dharmakaya Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri. From emptiness, the form body appears. Like a rainbow appearing in the sky. Meditate on the body as the yidam Gyalwa Gyatso. Son, do not be distracted, do not be confused, Ma-pham. The body of flesh and blood has been eaten by birds. The mind and consciousness are wandering in the bardo. Now, to the lama, Dharma friends, sisters, etc. Son of noble lineage, do not be attached to anyone. Dedicate and connect all possessions. Son of noble lineage, do not be attached to them. You have nothing to grieve over, it is happiness. There are countless peaceful and wrathful deities. There is the support of the great compassionate deity. There is the escort of rituals and dedicatory prayers. Today, even the most sinful person. Is on the path of liberation. The place you are going is west from here. There is the pure land of Sukhavati. Because your eyes cannot see the sun and moon. If you cannot determine which is the west. Then, the Lord Buddha Amitabha. Keep in mind the pure land where he resides. In the pure land of Sukhavati in the west. The glorious Bhagavan Buddha

Homage to Amitabha! He is actually teaching the sacred Dharma. May the deity, the Great Compassionate One, and the glorious Vajrapani attain great power. All of them are actually present there. Meeting them is just a matter of time. In this ocean of suffering in samsara, from countless eons ago until now, we have experienced endless suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death. There are millions of abysses of evil destinies below, and the happiness of the gods above is just like a dream. Now, this place of samsara is a prison. Son Mapam, escape from this prison! Go westward to the pure land of Sukhavati, without doubt in your mind, with one-pointedness. On all the paths leading there, someone will say, "I am your father and mother." Someone will say, "I am your relative." Someone will say, "I am your friend." All those who call out with affection are obstacles hindering your path to liberation. Do not listen, do not look, abandon attachment. Meditate on your own deity, the victorious one, like an ocean. After meeting the deity Amitabha, engrave the sacred Dharma you hear in your heart. In that pure land, there is not even the name of suffering. It is always filled with happiness and perfection. Always being able to meet the Buddhas, always being able to hear the sacred Dharma, and always being able to practice the Dharma, therefore, on the seat of the lotus flower's stamen, son Mapam takes rebirth, without doubt in your mind, focus your aspiration. When son Mapam ends his life, it will be on the fourth sunrise three days from now. Son Nyene Mapam did not stay here, but went to the western Sukhavati. Send him off with rituals and dedications of prayers. These words were spoken on the tenth day of the monkey month in the Tibetan calendar (year). May what was said be meaningful! ༈ །། Namo Guru Prawa Karaye! (藏文：ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་པྲ་ཝ་ཀ་ར་ཡེ།，梵文天城体：नमो गुरु प्रव कराये，梵文罗马拟音：namo guru prava karaye，汉语字面意思：顶礼上师语自在) Compassionate Padmasambhava, you possess ten kinds of knowledge and power. Therefore, this letter of mine, I pray that Padmasambhava knows it with his wisdom. May I and all those connected to me not be controlled by obstacles, may our lifespan and practice be perfected, and may we attain Buddhahood in one lifetime. Padmasambhava, you yourself know. In this very end of the degenerate age, epidemics, famine, and weapons rage like the wind, enemies, thieves, and robbers burn like fire, demons and spirits exhale poisonous breath. Such a place is your field of taming. Eliminate all obstacles and adverse conditions, may all wishes be spontaneously fulfilled. Great Orgyen, you yourself know. I pray without doubt.
