Supplication. Wisdom activity and the three realms, I supplicate the three protectors. Mother goddesses, planets, and the three bound by oath, I supplicate the three protectors of the teachings. Lord of demons, Tsen spirits, fierce nagas, the three, I supplicate the three phurbas. Male lineage, female lineage, hermaphrodite, the three, I supplicate the three guardians of the teachings. Thus, to the three refuges and the three roots, Three times from the heart I cry out in distress. Now, for only about three and a half months, Grant the four ways of gathering beings for their benefit. Then, for thirty years, May there be no obstacles to the retreat in the three doors. And when the three vows have reached their limit, May I attain the fruit of the three kayas. There is no other hope, knower of the three roots, On the third day of Giktang Churri, May the supplication be meaningful. Spoken by Ra Ga Asya. May virtue and goodness increase! Namo Ratna Trayaya! To all who come to this Dharma gathering, May the Dharma protectors guard against obstacles From epidemics, floods, and evil spirits. Liberation through seeing, liberation through remembering, liberation through touching, And liberation of the lineage through merely hearing, Please grant your blessings, Chenrezig. Pacify obstacles, Lord of Secrets. Grant accomplishments, Vajravarahi. Pouva great blessings, Vidyadharas. Accomplish favorable conditions, Zambhala. Subdue enemies and obstructors, Yamantaka. Eliminate obstacles! May lifespan be stable and activities expand. May the earth treasure auspicious connections quickly come together, and may the vast benefit of beings be accomplished. (藏文：ན་མོ་རཏྣ་ཏྲ་ཡཱ་ཡ།，梵文天城体：नमोरत्नत्रयाय，梵文罗马音：namo ratna trayāya，Literal meaning: Homage to the Three Jewels) The Three Jewels and the Three Roots, the ocean of oath-bound protectors, by the power of the great truth, may there be no obstacles to this empowerment and dharma, and may happiness and prosperity be complete. (藏文：ན་མོ་རཏྣ་ཏྲ་ཡཱ་ཡ།，梵文天城体：नमोरत्नत्रयाय，梵文罗马音：namo ratna trayāya，Literal meaning: Homage to the Three Jewels) We, the one infallible refuge, before the Three Jewels and the Three Roots, the attendant Mapham sincerely prays, may it avert untimely death and the harm of disease. To whom we prostrate and recite the name, with the aspiration to pacify all kinds of diseases, we prostrate to the Seven Medicine Buddhas. By the truth of the Buddha, may Mapham's illness be pacified. Those who recite the name and hold the vidyā mantra, also have the aspiration to prolong life, we supplicate to the Bhagavan Amitayus, by the truth of the Buddha, may Mapham's life increase. In the realm of the world, those who are frightened and cry out for help, to protect them, the first to promise and the swift hand, Mapham takes refuge in the noble Tara, protect from the fear of disease and untimely death. Whenever it becomes extremely degenerate, yet the compassion and blessing are particularly swift, Padmasambhava, we cry out to you, may the follower Mapham avert untimely death. All the oath-bound protectors of Oddiyana, for this faithful follower of Oddiyana, Mapham, may you avert all adverse conditions and obstacles, and be a companion to accomplish the generation and completion stage practice. The compassion of the Three Jewels and the Three Roots, the truth of the nature of phenomena, the cessation and the path, by the power of the truth of all truths, may the attendant Mapham avert untimely death, and may the youth of health and happiness flourish. This was written for my attendant Mapham, who had bad dreams since the summer of that year, and was near death from a severe illness at the turn of the new year. ༈ །། Namo Maha Mudraye.
