Since dependent arising is not deceptive, various joys and sorrows arise in the six realms. By meditating on wisdom and emptiness, one abandons samsara and attains the Dharmakaya. By accumulating merit and meditating on compassion, one obtains the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya. Wisdom and emptiness are the means, which is accumulation. Practice the union of the two accumulations. Great is the benefit of attaining the two Kayas. Thus, when striving to accumulate the two accumulations, think that everything is mind, and think that the mind is like the sky. The mind is neither existent nor nonexistent. Think that it is neither existent nor nonexistent, and think that the mind has nothing at all. Even if such thoughts occasionally arise, endure them. Although it exists, there is speech about it. Thinking that it exists, hold firmly to the definitive understanding. If one passes away in this life, one will fall into the four formless realms. For eighty thousand kalpas, there will be no good or bad body to take. A state like unconsciousness will arise, and again one will take a body and wander in samsara. Such stable samadhi is the way of the outsiders, the Tirthikas, who desire to attain the Dharmakaya. Even if such realization arises, for those who think that everything is mind, etc., look at that very grasping. Those graspings settle in their own place, and emptiness arises as the Great Seal. That is the true benefit. Thus, the experience of bliss, clarity, and non-thought, for sinking, excitement, etc., there is no fixed order. Earlier appearances and later appearances may occur in any way. The cycle of appearances will occur many times. The duration may be many years and months, or a few days, or just a moment. This is the nature of uncertain people. If it does not appear, it will not happen. It must be passed through in stages like a ladder. Sometimes anger, desire, jealousy, and miserliness are greater than before. Even those who are harsh in speech and stubborn in mind call themselves great meditators and fight. Harsh experiences are obstacles that cause the accumulation of sins. Pray to the Lama. Relax the body and mind and let go. That is a great benefit. For fault-finding, bad words, etc., deliberately aim at those, look at their essence, and realize that they are empty. Thus, starting from small things, gradually train even in important things. For whatever bad thoughts arise, first call it following, then call it destroying upon arising, and then naturally liberate it like a wave of water, one's own mind.

Discipline is the best of discipline, it is the aid to subduing afflictions. Afflictions and conceptual thoughts are enemies, if you think to subdue them by guarding their essence, then it is an obstacle of losing the antidote, it is an obstacle that is incompatible with the meaning of secret mantra. All afflictions and conceptual thoughts, from the beginning are great wisdom, not realizing it is wandering in samsara. On the other side of abandoning afflictions, although there is no wisdom to be sought, if you follow it, you will wander in samsara. Although you can change your mind after abandoning them, it is Hinayana, not Mahamudra and Dzogchen. Afflictions, conceptual thoughts, good or non-good, whatever arises, look at its own essence without difference. Without fabrication, relax it right there. Just as water waves dissolve into water, afflictions arise as great wisdom. Whatever arises, without needing to accept or reject, it is an aid to arising as meditation. When meditating on Abhisamaya and so on, after reciting mantras such as "Svabhava" (藏文:སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་,梵文天城体:स्वभाव,梵文罗马拟音:svabhāva,汉语字面意思:self-nature), when reciting becoming emptiness, contemplate emptiness where there is nothing, becoming like the sky. This is an obstacle of losing by not truly realizing emptiness, but by increasing with conceptual thoughts. Without fabricating emptiness with conceptual thoughts, look at the essence of your own mind's emptiness, it is an aid to direct realization. Sutras, Tantras, and accomplished ones have said many things, seeing that all dharmas are emptiness, it must be like the sky. For the dry understanding of thought meditation, after generating certainty, utter words of emptiness, like a poor person talking about the history of the rich, even if you understand, it is useless. Therefore, even if you understand a lot, do not think that your realization is high, strike stone and bone on your own mind, it is an aid to experience. In this way, eliminate the two faults of sinking and excitement, do not be attached to the good experiences of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptual thought, after subduing the arising of rough and turbulent thoughts, without losing in those three places of loss, if you can continue to practice, then when relying on the power of merit and virtuous deeds, the blessing of the Guru enters the mind, what is seen and the seer merge into one, this has no object of meditation to cling to, extinguishing the grasping of what is this and what is not, the good experiences of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptual thought, are like peeling off bark, is my meditation abandoned? Because this has no object of meditation to cling to, the "Ama Deu" (藏文:ཨམ་དེ་ཨུ་,meaningless) without meditation, this without this and that, is one place of loss "U"? Thinking, not believing in yourself,
