這個傳統從以前就沒有斷絕，第七世 尊者卻吉嘉措建造大佛像時，據說在澆鑄的接口處自然顯現了佐欽護法的身像等，內外密之所依，有著超乎想像的聖物。 此外，在《聖妙寶傘經》中，空中諸神讚頌怙主時說：「無數劫前已，圓滿無邊資糧而現證菩提，然以大悲力，恆常利益有情，怙主觀世音，我頂禮讚頌。」 如是說，聖觀世音自在噶瑪巴即是將其塑造為智慧怙主之身像，是黑袍金剛。於此作供食、供讚、獻哈達等，能消除障礙，帶來吉祥，引導來世，且《聖妙寶傘經》與《命輪續》二者文句相合的讚頌品中說：「您是大多數眾生的皈依處，以大悲力行利益有情之事。 您是消除疾病的無上醫師，消除具足自在的障礙。今生來世二者皆圓滿，其他願望也如心中所想。如是賜予一切願望於手中，如千藥般美麗，能摧毀毒害。您守護著三寶寺廟，使所有僧團善妙增長，使所有青年團體興盛廣大，降伏所有邪見魔障，心中想著利益一切有情。」又，《大天母讚續》中，金剛手菩薩說：「讚頌此天母，即是讚頌我。即是讚頌諸佛。天母亦守護、救護此人，並賜予其所欲之成就。」又，《黑袍怙主命輪續》中說：「具善者降罪之處，乃無有定準之事。修持具善黑袍者，一旦違犯誓言，即於當下行諸事業。 具善者為咒語所攝持，終將斷絕七代血脈。奪取所注視者的命氣，對違犯誓言者施以懲罰。」如是說，此大寺若有損害或違越誓言者，將斷絕七代血脈。

This tradition has never been broken since the past. When the 7th Kyabje Choekyi Gyatso built the Great Buddha statue, it is said that the image of Zum Gon, which is known to have naturally appeared on the casting joint, and other inner, outer, and secret supports, reside there beyond imagination. Moreover, in the Arya Ratna Vyūha Sutra, the gods of the sky praised the Protector, saying: "From the distant past of countless eons, having perfected infinite accumulations and manifestly attained enlightenment, yet by the power of compassion, constantly working for the benefit of beings, to the Protector Avalokiteśvara, I prostrate and praise." Thus it is said, the noble Avalokiteśvara, the powerful Karma pa, is the one who manifested as the wisdom Protector, the one with the black cloak. By making offerings, praises, and offering scarves here, obstacles are eliminated, auspiciousness is brought, future paths are guided, and in the chapter of praise where the Arya Ratna Vyūha Sutra and the Life Wheel Tantra agree in words, it says: "You are the refuge of most beings, by the power of compassion you do what benefits beings. You are the supreme physician who cures diseases, eliminating the harm of the one who has attained mastery. Both this life and the next are perfect, and other desires are as they arise in the mind. Likewise, grant all desires into your hands, like a thousand medicines, beautiful to behold, destroying poisons. You protect the Three Jewels temple, causing all the monastic community to increase in goodness, causing all youth groups to flourish and expand, subduing all heretical enemies and obstructors, thinking in your heart to benefit all sentient beings." Moreover, in the Great Tantra of Praise to the Goddess, Vajrapani said: "Praising this goddess is praising me. It is praising the Buddhas. The goddess also protects and saves that person, and grants the desired attainments." Also, in the Black Protector Life Wheel Tantra, it says: "The place where the well-endowed one inflicts punishment is uncertain. When practicing the well-endowed black one, as soon as vows are broken, at that very moment, actions are performed. Whoever is seized by the mantra of the well-endowed one, will ultimately cut off seven generations of lineage. Taking the life breath of the one who is targeted, inflicting punishment on those who have broken vows." Thus it is said, if there is harm or transgression of vows to this great monastery, seven generations of lineage will be cut off.
