The Great Monastery, Orgyen Glorious Karma's Place of Praise, The Sound of Praise is the Great Drum of the Gods. The Great Monastery, Orgyen Glorious Karma's Place of Praise, The Sound of Praise is the Great Drum of the Gods. The Great Monastery, Orgyen Glorious Karma's Place of Praise, named The Sound of Praise is the Great Drum of the Gods, is complete. Namo Guru Karma Kaye. (Tibetan) Homage to the Karma Guru. (Literal meaning) To Avalokiteśvara in Potala, to the emanation of Orgyen in Ngayab Ling, to the glorious Karmapa in the land of snows, I pay homage to those who hold the black crown. To the accomplished Dombi Heruka in the sacred land of India, to Gomchung Rechen in the snowy land of Tibet, and to the one who now possesses the activity of the Victorious One, I pay homage to the emanation of Situ. The explanation of the sacred place of the Great Monastery, Orgyen Karma, has two aspects: a general history and a specific history. In general, the noble Avalokiteśvara Karmapa himself, in the sacred place of Orgyen, the spontaneously accomplished Dharmadhatu, abides with the nature of the mind Dharmakaya, pervading all of samsara and nirvana. Thus, even the Bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis can only see a form in the darkness, and have no opportunity to see it directly. How can beings like us speak of it? Therefore, one should contemplate: I pray to that which is beyond thought, word, and hope. Thus he taught. Furthermore, the "Noble Lotus Adornment Sutra" says: From one pore of the noble Avalokiteśvara Karmapa, countless Buddhafields can be emanated to perform the benefit of beings. How can such sacred places be fully described? Therefore, one should contemplate: I pray to the lord of countless realms. Thus he taught the followers. Furthermore, the "Sutra of Various Rivers" says: The noble Avalokiteśvara Karmapa emanates one thousand two hundred Buddhas in the three thousand great thousand worlds, in worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, and performs the benefit of sentient beings. Furthermore, the "White Lotus Sutra" says: The noble Avalokiteśvara Karmapa emanates twelve deeds in the three thousand great thousand worlds, with emanations as numerous as the subtle particles of the great elements of the intermediate world, and benefits sentient beings. It also says, "Great Compassion Various Plays," or "Great Compassion.

In the Sutra of the Victory Banner or the Sutra of the Play of Compassion, it is said that the noble Lokeshvara Karmapa stated that in a billion Jambudvipas, there are a billion Vajrasanas, a billion Shakyamuni Buddhas; in a billion Potalas, there are a billion Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvaras; in a billion Lhasa emanations, a billion emanation Dharma Kings Songtsen Gampo emanate to benefit sentient beings. Therefore, considering this meaning, we pray to the pure lands pervaded by emanations. This is the instruction to the followers. Similarly, in the condensed version of the Sutra of Separating Essence and Dross, it says: In a billion worlds, a billion emanations called Karmapa will arise, wearing black hats to subdue beings. Furthermore, in the Ornament of the Sutras and other scriptures, it is equally proclaimed that the activities for the benefit of beings and the teachings of a billion supreme emanation Buddhas Shakyamuni are the same. Therefore, in a billion Jambudvipas, there will also be a billion great Karmic places, a billion Gyalwa Karmapas, and a billion Situ incarnations appearing in succession. Such vast biographies are difficult for the minds of ordinary individuals like ourselves to comprehend, so we will curtail the elaboration. Second General Meaning: To briefly recount the history of this great monastery. This includes five points: 1. The origin of the sacred site; 2. The manner in which the sacred site was blessed; 3. The manner in which the sacred site's door was opened and the fundamental seat of the teachings was established; 4. The catalogue of the sacred site's explanations; 5. The benefits, purposes, and necessities. First, the origin of the sacred site: Initially, at the time of the formation of the world, from the emanation of Samantabhadri, the essence of Vajradhatvishvari, from the emptiness of space, arose the emanation of the Great Mother Samaya Tara, the mandala of wind. Similarly, the emanation of White-Robed Mother is fire, the emanation of Mamaki is water, and the emanation of Buddha Locana is earth. These gathered together and formed the four continents and Mount Meru. From the essence of the elements, the sun, moon, wish-fulfilling jewel tree, and the great and small sacred sites were formed. All of these, from an external perspective, arise from the common karma of sentient beings.
