And its meaning is, Orgyen Rinpoche said: Whatever thoughts of the past, future, and present arise, the object of memory and the one who remembers are naturally liberated. Thoughts dissolve into emptiness, liberated without inherent existence, this is the Sugata's mind, the path of Dharma-nature, remembering emptiness. Also, in the tantra it says: Appearances, sounds, and streams of thoughts are definitely self-liberated. Therefore, without obstructing self-arising, it will definitely go to non-obstruction of self-dissolution. Thus it is said. Similarly, in the Great Compassionate Secret Assembly Tantra, it says: The meaning of the tantra is that the nature is uniquely one, without error or fabrication, it is the Dharmakaya. Possessing two purities, it is the Sambhogakaya. Compassion unceasing, it is the Nirmanakaya. The essence is free from arising, ceasing, and abiding, uncompounded, and from the very beginning, it has its own inherent qualities. Without beginning or end, there is no coming or going. Without birth, there is no cessation. Primordially self-arisen, there is no bondage or liberation. Without limit or partiality. Thus it says. Unelaborated dharmas are pure from the beginning, the stains of the four extremes are naturally clear. Primordial purity, the essential pure Dharmakaya. Samsara and Nirvana are spread into equality. Thus it is said. Similarly, in the Great Compassionate One's Intent, the Tantra of Universal Liberation of Beings, it says: Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ,Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ,Literal Chinese meaning: 吽). The two truths are the truth of one's own mind. Not arising, not abiding, not going. Not swayed by samsara or nirvana. This meaning transcends thought. Everything exists, and everything does not exist. Unchanging and inexpressible. Destroying the tenets of one and many, gathering and scattering. It is the essence of all dharmas. Thus it says. Cultivate vipassanā in the state of śamatha. Recognize abiding in śamatha. Subdue thoughts with the six objects. Thus it says. Constantly relaxing, one is free from the three extremes of arising, ceasing, and abiding. Showing awareness without distraction. Thus it is said. These are the scriptural authorities of this Dharma's tantras. Next, I will briefly cite the scriptural authorities of the general sutras and tantras that support these authorities. In the thirty-third chapter, it says: All three realms are created by the mind. That very mind is always impossible to show. The path without form cannot be shown, like an illusion. The wise should seek the Dharma-nature of the mind. When the Dharma-nature is sought by the mind, the Dharma-nature of mind and Dharma is not seen. By what mind does the mind seek? That mind also does not see its own nature. Thus it says. Samadhi King
