Meditate in such places. The Five Deity Ritual states: 'In charnel grounds, dangerous mountains, and snow cliffs.' The commentary explains: 'The middle is any great place where Dakinis gather, possessing good omens.' Therefore, practice this Dharma in any small place blessed by Guru Rinpoche, or in places blessed by the Kagyu Dharma Kings, father and sons. It is better to practice for a month in those places blessed by Orgyen Rinpoche than to practice for a year elsewhere. It is better to practice for a few days in those small places than to practice for a month elsewhere.' Having gained stability, meditate in great places like charnel grounds. The old Sakya text states: 'It is best in a charnel ground where heroes and Dakinis actually appear.' The Two Examinations Tantra states: 'A solitary tree and a charnel ground, the house of a Mamo and the night, or a remote borderland.' etc. Tsari is the Rishi Sarvata mountain, the foremost of the twelve auspicious mountains, as well as Mount Kailash (around 660 AD) and Lapchi Gotawari, and the place of the Field-Protecting Dakini, Chuvari, and the place of Kamarupa Kampo, and Rongtrung Khawa Karpo Khawari Mountain, and Gampo Shanti Mountain, etc., thirty-two places, and great places like Dremotsang Bukhar Chu, etc., and especially practice in Chimpu, the practice place of Padma's speech. Also, since this is a deity of subjugation, it can also be accomplished in places where many people gather, such as markets. The Vajra Tent Tantra states: 'Where songs and dances are abundant, in the house of a prostitute, thus the lotus dancer, the one who makes offerings, bestows accomplishment.' Thus it is said. Therefore, for the initial practitioner, the place should be a secluded place, an auspicious place, a desirable place, or practice in one's own home or base, or any place that does not cause illness, has no demonic obstacles, and is a desirable place where meditation arises, any of these four places. The teacher Garbhari said: 'A secluded and self-satisfying own home.' This is in accordance with what is said in this treatise. If one newly begins practice in this place, then one should sweep, burn gugul incense, and sprinkle with water blessed by reciting the pacifying mantra and the phowa mantra, etc. If it is related to the self-arisen deity, then one should arrange elaborate offerings and tormas such as mandalas, and perform self-arising.

The preliminary for the generation stage practice is the torma offering. The inner offering is placing the nectar pills. The vajra bell, the damaru, the torma decorated with white and red, the number of deities or five, etc., the seven offerings, etc., starting from one's left side, are arranged in common. Then, at the beginning of all offerings, first, the obstacles should be dispelled by cleansing with the mantra of a wrathful deity. Since this is the Padma family, it is cleansed with the mantra of Hayagriva. Then, the inherent nature of the object itself is purified into emptiness with the mantra of Svabhava (Tibetan: སྲ་བྷ་ཝ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वभाव, Sanskrit Romanization: svabhāva, Literal Chinese meaning: self-nature). Because anything can be accommodated into emptiness, everything is possible. Therefore, the nectar is blessed from the state of emptiness. From the Ali Kali secret inconceivable great river tantra: The ultimate of the vessel is a kapala with characteristics, the ultimate of the essence is the five nectars. And so on. From the Compendium of Origins: Then, for that reason, the five nectars, the correct practice should be thoroughly explained. And so on, is a detailed explanation of the five nectars. The meat of a cow, the meat of a horse, the meat of an elephant, and likewise, the meat of a human and the meat of a dog, the wise should hold. And so on, is a detailed explanation of the five meats. From the Kalachakra: Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), Ho (Tibetan: ཧོ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हो, Sanskrit Romanization: ho, Literal Chinese meaning: Ho) reside in order, first this should always be purified and then contemplated. And the five methods of accomplishing nectar are also taught in many great tantras of the New Translation School, such as the Guhyasamaja. From the Immaculate Confession Tantra: The five vows to be taken first are: excrement, urine, red blood, semen, and salt earth, great meat, etc., the five samaya substances, four accomplishments and three existences, etc., all appearances of each should be purified, this is the great method for accomplishing siddhis. And: The supreme substance for practice is the nectar Amrita (Tibetan: ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अमृत, Sanskrit Romanization: amṛta, Literal Chinese meaning: immortality). And so on. In particular, when nectar pills are placed: The offering to all the Sugatas, of the guru, yidam, nectar, the heart blood of all the dakinis, by eating this, the qualities are beyond words, the nature of the five Buddha bodies is accomplished, external obstacles are pacified, physical diseases are destroyed, internal five poisons of afflictions, common samaya violations are restored, secret self-arising is purified, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, etc., in countless eons in an instant, complete with equal and great qualities. Thus it is said.
