In order to guide those of weak faith to attain certainty, and because it seems that no one has previously explained this treatise. In order to prevent the lineage of this ritual from being interrupted, and in order to illuminate the teachings when they are on the verge of disappearing, it is entirely motivated by compassion for all sentient beings. With the motivation of wishing that all sentient beings connected to me may be born in Sukhavati, I primarily practice this Dharma. The yogi Raga Asya wrote this from the supplementary month of the Water Snake year (1713), during the breaks between sessions, and completed the arrangement on an auspicious day of the month of གྲོ་ཞུན་ (Tibetan fifth month). I hope there is no fault in this, as it is not for the sake of seeking erudition, fame, or respect. However, for ordinary people, there may be misunderstandings, biased understandings, wrong understandings, irrelevance, contradictions, revealing what should be hidden, confusion of the meaning of the text, and other writing errors. With great regret, I confess before the Blessed One, Great Compassionate Avalokiteshvara, the Nine Deities of the Victorious Ocean and the assembly of the Five Ocean Deities. I pray for blessings so that from the Pure Land of the North, I will not be obscured by obstacles in this life and future lives. The offering of hearing is well-filled like an ocean, The flowers of radiant wisdom are scattered everywhere. And so on. The writing, well-composed and melodious music, etc., May the noble ones accept the offerings that please them. As it is said, for the Sutras and Tantras, which are like an ocean without partiality, having listened and contemplated, quoting many scriptural authorities from them is an offering that pleases the noble ones. Having carefully examined with the sharp light of radiant wisdom, knowing where and when those scriptural authorities are applicable, and applying them without error, is the flower of wisdom. Furthermore, dissecting the obscure points in the scriptures with reason, like separating wool, is also a flower. If later generations see and practice it, they will become Vajra holders with the three vows, possessing the fragrance of morality, becoming incense. Explaining this well to others, spreading this Dharma in general and in particular, dispelling the ignorance of those to be tamed, is a lamp. Regarding the appropriateness and inappropriateness here, and the differences in various views, there are some slight distinctions.

It is the washing water that purifies the sinful parts. If you meditate on its meaning, you will experience the taste of bliss and emptiness united, the union of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality, which is the food of samadhi, the food for the mouth. This composition is like music, soothing to the ears of those who are devoted to this Dharma. The noble ones can be pleased by such offerings, but other worldly offerings, even if offered with the rule of a universal monarch, may complete one's own accumulation of merit, but cannot please the noble ones. This is because they see all the happiness and wealth of samsara as the source of faults, and they see the composition of this as the place where liberation and enlightenment arise. Therefore, may whatever merit I have gained from composing this be offered to the Great Compassionate Avalokiteshvara, the Victorious Gyatso, the assembly of nine deities, and the assembly of five deities. By this virtue, may all sentient beings quickly attain enlightenment, may the Buddha's teachings abide for a long time, and may the lives and activities of the holy Dharma holders increase. By this virtue, may all sentient beings, primarily myself and all those connected to me, be instantly reborn in the Western Pure Land of Sukhavati from a lotus flower, as quickly as stretching and contracting an arm, immediately after abandoning this body. As soon as they are born, may the lotus open and may they see the face of Amitabha. Until enlightenment is attained, may they always hold onto that pure land and gradually attain enlightenment. May Amitabha's life, Avalokiteshvara's activity, Vajrapani's power, Manjushri's wisdom, the five Jambhala's accomplishments, and all of Padmasambhava's abilities be gathered into me, so that I can now place all sentient beings on the path of liberation and omniscience. May the pure and inconceivable Dharmadhatu, the infallible cause and effect of dependent origination, and the compassion of the Great Compassionate Avalokiteshvara deities accomplish this. Now, since we are nearing the end of the degenerate age, and all the Dharma is gradually declining, even if you write this, you will not be able to make it clear. The Buddha's teachings and all Dharmas
