The left ones hold a khatvanga and grasp the throat of a Rakshasa. In Wangden (Dbang-ldan), there is the terrifying black mother, with three faces of black, white, and red. In her six hands, the right ones hold a sword, a garland of intestines, and a vajra. The left ones hold a khatvanga and grasp a head. In Lhanam, in the east is the white flower mother, holding a flower in her right hand. In the south is the red incense mother, holding incense. In the west is the yellow lamp mother, holding a lamp. In the north is the red scented water mother, holding a container of scent. All four of these hold a khatvanga marked with a vajra in their left hands. In Mer, there is the red lute mother, holding a purifier in her right hand and a lute in her left. In Dentralk, there is the yellow flute mother, holding an offering in her right hand and a flute in her left. In the wind, there is the white round drum mother, holding a vajra in her right hand and a round drum in her left. In Wangden, there is the smoky-colored clay drum mother, holding a khatvanga in her right hand and showing and binding the mandala of the clay drum in her left. In the east gate is the white bull-headed one, holding an iron hook. In the south gate is the red elephant-headed one, holding a rope. In the west gate is the yellow beautiful-faced one, holding an iron chain. In the north gate is the smoky-colored ugly-faced one, holding a bell. All the mandala deities are adorned with fierce ornaments, possessing a vajra topknot and a jewel crown. They reside in a mandala blazing with red light, in a posture of singing and dancing. The mantra is: Om jwala jwala hum phat bho swaha. According to the ninth chapter of the Vajra Amrita Tantra, the mandala of the thirteen deities of Amrita Kundali: In the center of a lotus with eight different-colored petals is a sun disc. On the eight petals and at the four gates are moon cushions. On top of the central cushion, one instantly transforms into the wrathful deity Amrita Kundali, with a black body, three faces of black, white, and red, bared fangs, extremely fierce, yellow eyes, yellow eyebrows, hair blazing upwards, marked on the crown of the head with a Vajra Amrita scripture, a hanging belly, and a short stature. The left foot tramples on the king of obstacles. In his six hands, the right ones hold an axe, a sword, and a vajra. The left ones hold a threatening gesture, a wooden stake, and a rope.
